Some Misthalin news:

- The Countess of Draynor has been ransomed back as is returning to Misthalin

- The Crown is spending 5,000 gold on repairing any damage done in the Draynor raid and compensating those who were robbed.

- Lady Adair has been named the new Court Mage

- Lord Lost has been named the new Baron of Deepwood (a large barony east of Draynor) "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

Hire 50 runecrafter and have them begin runecrafting Chaos, Earth, and Air runes.

Train six Edgeville guards the spell Crumble Undead.

Create a disposal area for black stones of the plague.

Start building the Emerald Observatory.

Get funding for La Pyramide.

Contact the Z.M.I. to discuss their current plans.

Use the remaining funds I have at my disposal for a pizza party. Thinking Anchovy.

There would be an unsettling silence falling upon Lumbridge. Many A

worker would be missing from their routine spaces; farmers, blacksmiths, guards,

militiamen, beggars, and holy men. Once investigated, children were missing as well. Those

A criminal at large!

It has been discovered that Rickard Valence, a renown career criminal is believed to be one of the individuals responsible for the creation of the plague that has afflicted this city. Several Knights of Misthalin were dispatched to bring the individual in for questioning but Mr. Valence is said to have resisted arrest, resulting in a fight breaking out which caused the destruction of an entire private residence due to fire damage. The burnt out shell can now be found in the south west corner of Varrock and as yet the palace has said there are no plans for its reconstruction. Mr. Valance is said to have fled the site via an escape tunnel and his whereabouts are currently unknown, a reward of 50,000 gold coins has been offered for his capture.

In other news the Varrock Herald understands that the power vacuum left by the now missing and much hated Rickard Valance within the criminal underworld has been partially filled by a man named Grant Richards, a supposed descendant of a man named "Daniel Steel". Daniel Steel lived during the later part of the 5th age, he is understood to have been a high ranking member of the Black Arm gang and later left to become a contract killer before his sudden disappearance. His new "Black Legion", an offshoot from the Black Arm has gained considerable support from former members of the Black Arm that felt betrayed by both the plague they supposedly caused and equally their sudden abandonment.

-OOC effects-

- Of the 53 Black Arm members within the Headquaters 37 survived and escaped with Rickard to Karamja
- Of the 450,000 gold stored in the hq 150,000 of it was evacuated by the gang, the remainder has been reclaimed by the crown.
- The Black Legion gang has been formed
- The Black Arm gang has lost 50 lower districts and 12 upper districts
- The Black Legion has gained 50 lower districts
- The crown has reclaimed 12 upper districts
- 50,000 gold is being offered for the capture of Rickard Valance "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

In one of his shoreside hideouts, Rickard took to the pen and sent out this letter to all of the Lords and Ladies of Misthalin.


" I am who I am, I will not deny that I commit crimes, It is my way of life and has always been. Everything I have done was to protect my /Kin/, but I will not sit back and allow my name to be thrown into the dirt by some /false/ King. Let me tell you the truth about your dear King, the man whom claims to represent absolute /justice/.

He is a liar, the biggest liar of them all....

He presented to me an "offer" to become one of his puppets, to handover all of my assets and resources to himself for his own pockets. Im a criminal, but I was not willing to become what he wanted me to be...there are lines not even someone like me would cross.

He took my asnwer to heart and sent some weeks after a unit of knights to attack our headquarters without notice....Myself and two of my trusted officers stayed behind as my men and their families fled saftely away.....with just the three of us remaining to defend, the cowards still refused to enter even though they outnumbered us greatly...there was no great battle or anything of the like....they used cowardly tactics and chose to risk burning down a portion of their city then face us like /men/.

Your King works fast though...ensuring a grand old coverup...placing new pieces where others once stood....This new gang on the rise...the so called "Black Legion gang" is his new piece, his means of fully controlling the criminal underworld to ensure his own success, at the cost of his own people.

He is not who he says he is.....

The Sage unfolded the letter and read it with a frown. Halfway through, he folded it back up and let an ember strike it alight, the wasted paper drifting away behind him as it burned.

Draynor update





Raktuber was about to begin and the Easter eggs were not the only thing scattered across the Village of Draynor. Merchants had begun to show interest for the Village now that it’s slowly recovered from the recent raid. Not just merchants, but venture capitalists and entrepreneurs as well began to show interest for the divine energy the Village was slowly stocking up on.

The countess however was a bit reluctant on giving everyone the possibility to freely use the docks ever since the raid, so a new solution for the mobility of the regions trade sector has to be made up.
