Character Name: Aerith

Age: Whenever the cusp of adulthood starts and teenage life ends for Elves.

Race: Elf

Sector of RP: Amddiffynnwr Uchel/Military

Religion: Seren

Physical Description: Tall and athletically built, Aerith stands at about 6'7 and weighs approximately 130 lbs. She has a very defined muscular tone that accents her Elven crafted clothing and armor. Her face is long and sharp with many defining features such as a pointed chin and high, prominent cheek bones. Her slightly angled eyes are of a soft amber color and of course she has long, pointed ears that stick out of her long and straight straw blonde hair which reaches all the way down towards her upper buttox. She takes great pride in her hair. I have an actual portrait of her figure if you'd like.

Personality: Aerith is reserved and quiet. Very calculative. She thinks a lot. All of her moves are very carefully planned. She does not like making friends or socializing. She also enjoys the finer things in life, such as aged wine and intricate art. She looks down heavily upon non-elven races.

Strengths: Range, melee, problem solving, leadership, swimming, agility

Flaws: Socialization, diplomacy, magic, saving currency, drinking responsibly,

Backstory: I had a backstory written for Aerith from a D&D campaign in the Forgotten Realms but it seems I've lost the writing. In short, she was born and raised into a military family as an only child where she was pretty much taken from the moment she could walk all the way until she was considered an adult and was trained in military tactics and fighting. Once she was of age and an adult, she was sent to the military. It's almost all she knows. Because of it her social skills suffered. But she's an outstanding soldier although inexperienced. She has a very long life to live as an Elf, on the other hand.

Anything else you'd like us to know?: N/A

“In the throne room of House Telemmaite, the king of the elves sat and waited for subjects and visitors to enter. He had decided to have an open throne room for the day to answer any queries - or accusations - anyone involved in the elf’s affairs may have.

The first to approach was a young human, Summer. She wasted no time in asking Nolfinwe about the supposed enslavement of elves throughout his own land, an accusation brought to light when several slaves had ran straight into falador square, telling all who would listen about their experience and who was behind it. The king stated he had never enslaved an elf and left it at that, seemingly not willing to answer her questions further.

Berating the guards and storming in, Merca Undomer and her accompanying uchel guard Carwen took their places either side of the throne, between the seven or so visitors and the king. They were the only ones among them besides the king to hold weapons, as the outside guards had searched each individual.

After some (mostly wasted) time and several stupid questions, the king was visibly irritated that no-one had even showed up with something worthwhile to say. Breaking the monotony of it all, a messenger ran in and presented Nolfinwe with a scroll, speaking to him with news of a part of his own territory being thrown into revolt.

Alarmed and angered, Nolfinwe ordered the messenger to leave immediately and without delay turned to his Capten and promoted her on the spot to Uwchfeistr, telling Merca to use any means necessary to crush this revolt. Merca immediately accepted this charge, and the king addressed the court stating that any and all sellswords were greatly needed in this time, offering plenty of coin to those who would help him with this new and very real problem.

He ordered his Uwchfeistr to show two such mercenaries who had immediately offered their services outside and induct them into the uchel. Merca started to leave as the vyre Eyonia approached the throne, but stopped and turned to the king, giving a signal to Carwen, the fellow king’s guard.

All at once, the king found the breath in his lungs torn from him as Carwen cast an asphixiation spell on his own ruler. Eyonia noticing the Uwchfeistr‘s intention immediately turned, killing several lower ranked guards after they noticed what was happening. Merca approached the throne and grabbed the king’s amulet, using its magic to teleport them both out of the throne room to a location only she knew of, and in an instant they were both gone. The only ones left standing in the throne room were a human doctor, Carwen and the vyre Eyonia, the latter two having just assisted the leader of the elven army in kidnapping the king himself.”

Character Name: Beldaran Cadarn

Age: 275ish

Race: Elf

Sector of RP: Amddiffynnwr Uchel

Religion: Loosely Serenist

Physical Description: A effeminately thin and curved body, but toned and capable to endure physical strain, although rarely seen behind any armour or her typical garb of leather and cloak.

Her hair is that of a typical elf; richly golden locks and of some length, usually kept in check by a lightly-decorated headband. She also has close-set, lidded eyes which in most cases either contributes to her looking mildly irritated or just plain tired/bored.

Personality:
To describe it in three words: Dutiful, Industrious and honest. these perhaps being both negative aspects as well as positive. if she knew that there was a loose notch on her bow and she wasn't in any immediate danger or other matter to attend to, she'd go about fixing that, and whilst her honesty has earned her a lot of respect, it has also impacted negatively in the form of irritated clientel, offended family members and scorned potential-suitors.

Whilst all of the above is true, she is one for some banter and the occasional joke, just be wary not to pick anything too sore.

Strengths: Her archery skills are at first-rate, rarely missing what she intends to hit with her arrows, as well as this she has had a lot of experience with various techniques, such as using other variants of bow, leading shots from a long distance and firing more than one arrow at a time (although at reduced range and less accuracy)

Flaws: her previously mentioned personality traits mean she isn't the most socially-orientated person and subsequently lacks a lot of them, sometimes being an outright asshole or anti-social.

Her prowess as a bowman doesn't make her a perfect swordsman though.

Backstory:
Beldaran was born some time during the first Elven Civil war, and was a child to a scout and herbalist between the Cadarn and Meilyr respectively.

However she was expected to go into a militaristic training regime at a young age to aid in the ongoing civil war once she was of age.

Whilst not trained by her own father, she did end up becoming a scout in the Cadarn's Reconnaissance regiment and was taught how to survive on and off of the battlefields.

Due to this fairly strict and brutal style of training and conditioning, she never really developed more advanced social skills beyond bantering and getting to know someone; she never really learnt how to be sympathetic or understanding people, beyond basic body language.

This civil war took her father's life from him and whilst she remained a clan member true and proper she never really felt like she ever fit in, considering her remaining family members were from the Meilyr and spent most of their time fixing salves and treatments for the wounded.

After the civil war, time passed and she spent a lot of her youth practicing her skills as a bowman and gathering useful plants for her mother or as something to eat.

The previous leader of her regiment was sympathetic to her, even if she did not know it, and was very allowing for her, especially considering her lack of mingling with the rest of them, besides formal training sessions or missions. but when said leader stepped down the new head of her regiment was very irritable due to her nature and made her life a living hell. Eventually, she was cast out from the regiment, although she began to develop a dislike for her heritage as it was, and one cold evening she made her way over the mountain to the Kingdom of Hyanflaid, either in search of better employment or in general a better life.

Anything else you'd like to add?: Just to confirm; Beldaran isn't completely characterless, she talks, expresses herself and so on, but previously had avoided so out of respect, she isn't some sort of robot with no emotion, just a severe lack of.
