Reactions towards own kin: The Diakoh are very indifferent to eachother. However, if a Diakoh meets another of a similar weapon, it near always results in a duel, or if their fragmented memories of their wielders lead them to attack.
Appearance: The Diakoh’s appearance depends upon the vessel they place themselves into.
However, once in a body they can alter it slightly to better suit them.
Before entering a body, they appear as specters, without proper shape of color. See-through, though commonly with many humanoid traits. Many adopt fully physical forms as specters.
Reactions toward other Races: This varies with the Diakoh’s origin.
Current State of population: Unknown. They are as many as there are broken blades of mighty wielders.
History of Race: The Diakoh are a manifestation of two things:
An extremely powerful, and mighty weapon, that was destroyed.
And, of the essence of the person or thing that previously wielded them.
Thus, a Diakoh is the embodiment of a weapon, and it’s wielder. This bond creating within the weapon a ‘soul*, that, once the weapon is destroyed, is released into the world. However, it not being ‘truly’ a living soul, it cannot pass on into the spirit realm. Leaving it as a bodiless essence, the to remain existent, needs a vessel.
A Diakoh inherits powers from the person they had been wielded by, and when they manifest their weapon, it is the same as it was in life.
No one can say when the first Diakoh was birthed, how long they have been around, or what they have been doing. But they exist, and will continue to as long as powerful weapons, and mighty warriors, are forged.
How did it get here: Summed in history.
Other: If there are questions, be them universal, or for someone wishing to make a Diakoh. Please ask me. I tend to forget to put things in bios, like this.

A taste of my steel is beyond sufficient for your last meal.
