I know there isn't a format for this, but I wanna intro a new environment into the rp, it really fits with a sub-plot we have going atm...

Place name: Kharzum

Geographical positioning: To the far south, just north of the southern-polar reaches

Description:
Kharzum is a relatively inhospitable land, formed purely from volcanic rock, it is at first sight, little more than a large spine of active volcanoes rising above the sea.
A second glance, however, reveals cities built into the rock, simple buildings of stone, beneath a sky darkened by the constant activity of the volcanoes.
Lava is channelled down the mountains in purpose-built troughs, until it collects in basins near the edges of the island, where it cools, and is mined to make more buildings and structures, which are protected from the immense heat by magic.

Inhabitants: (I'll make a race bio later)
The only sentient inhabitants of Kharzum are a species of intelligent, humanoid creatures called the Kharzi.
Aside from them, rock elementals are common, and the deadly fire-drakaz, a thing much like a sea-serpent, with the approximate size of a certain black dragon (QBD).
Surprisingly, the locals hunt these fire-drakaz for food.

Other:
Few even know of Kharzum's existence, save for a few merchant ships that trade fabrics and foods there for the Kharzi's exotic weapons and pottery.
The Kharzi are said to live in a utopian society, and only trade with 'honourable' humans, having a tendency to slaughter any others...

Race Bio

Race name: Kharzi

Life expectancy: Roughly a few hundred years, a lucky Kharzi can live to be five-hundred

Common powers: Due to their natural environment, all Kharzi possess thick skin, and a curious immunity to heat, able to wade into molten rock as if it were water.
Nearly all possess a heavily muscular physique, and those that aren't are cast out into the wilds, to fend for themselves. They do this willingly, for the good of the Kharzi as a whole.

Reaction to kin: Most Kharzi greet each other with a specific word (Varas for friends or comrades, Vasim for a lover, Blod for an outsider, or member of another species, another species who has achieved respect is called Blod-Hren)

Appearance:
Kharzi commonly have grey or pale skin, and, due to their environment and thick skin, wear little clothing.
They all share the same midnight-black eyes, and instead of hair, they all have a crest of horns jutting from their heads. These begin growing when a Kharzi becomes an adult, usually around the age of fifty.

Other races:
The Kharzi reaction towards other races revolves around the intention of said race.
Kharzi function in a utopian society, where everything is done for the good of the entire group.
The human concepts of greed, jealousy and discrimination have no place in their society, and if they see humans reacting thusly, they will become disgusted, disappointed, or down-right hostile.

Current state of population:
Kharzi society is strong, with disease and starvation at a constant low.
This is due to the nature of Kharzi society, a utopian concept in which the occupants are raised into their adult years as a 'flock', and are then separated into separate castes, each with a focus on a different aspect of life, these are; Vatal (the hunters),
Sal'ka (healers), Veri'tasem (farmers and livestock owners), Vasho (warriors, soldiers).

History:
The history of the Kharzi is largely unknown, as they do not consider anything more than military strategic worth documenting.
It is known, however, by those who trade with the Kharzi, that they intend to take the 'verdant lands' to the north, with the north almost certainly being occupied Asgarnia and Misthalin.
It can be theorized, then, that they were once natives to Gielinor, and were forced out at some point...

How did they get here?:
Unknown, the Kharzi don't consider it important.

Other:
Kharzi have a strong sense of honour, that often seems peculiar to other races.
