Short history:
The Ko'Venari were once as proud and as noble as their Saa'Venari bretheren, happy in their blissfully ignorant worship of Ko', the Venari patron of death and hunger.
Once Ko spoke to his followers, he spoke of how the Saa' and Kai' Venari thought themselves superior.
With the Saa' being worshippers of darkness and life, and the Kai' worshipping the sun and the powers of healing, the Ko' felt their duty of safeguarding the departed souls of their bretheren was overlooked.
So they listened to the blissful whispering of Ko, and performed rituals upon themselves, binding demons to their very souls.
But instead of being consumed by the demons, the Ko'Venari became something altogether different; the twisted, corrupted creatures known through the tellings of the Saa' stranded on Gielinor as Ko'Venari.
After an age-long war, in which they forgot their former selves, the Ko'Venari finally cast down the goddess Saa, though they were denied the complete obliteration of the Saa'Venari.
Soon after, the Ko'Venari learnt where their brothers had gone, the Final Haven, known to its local inhabitants as Giellinor.
