That wasn't recorded, though, I'm fairly sure.

The orb used to record the threat recorded the entirety of events until it was visibly shown. Should naturally be skepticism about the legitimacy of the recording though.
...But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. This, I did.

Like, I get that you wouldn't want to mention it for fear of me trying to meta game my way out of it, but that isn't really an excuse to, out of the blue, say "We were recording the entiiiiiire tiiiiiiiiiiiime!". There was no alluding to it's presence beforehand, and I doubt it was even there before it's sudden mention in character.

I can't really see why you have a particular qualm given that you responded to it's existence anyway.

I am still acknowledging it, but I disagree with how it was incorporated and I want to make that clear.

Meanwhile in Sarimia...

With the news of the Church actions in Misthalin came to his ears, Duke Aegidius Blackwood of Sarimia, acted quickly. Calling up the reserves of the the Sarimia Defense Force and calling to arms all of his countrymen, the Duchy was swiftly covered with the blues and golds of the SDF patrolling the roads and the small villages and Cities to ensure the Laws of the Crown were enforced. Though his second act was something much less neutral, drafting a bill quickly, under the authority of the Crown and the People’s Duchy Court, The Popular Commission of the Nature of Church Activities. The Church would swifty find any assets frozen in Sarimia, any home or standing building of Church Authority would find the SDF right outside with warrants of questioning for any ranking Church member, not the people of the Faith. The warrants called for them to go in front of the People’s Duchy Court and the Popular Commission of the Nature of the Church Activities and explain their corruption to the People they pretend to serve.

With this happening, Duke Blackwood took to the stage, in the middle of Port Sarim, gathered in the People’s Duchy Court, everyone from the local farmer to the Barons were present. Clearing his throat, he wore his old battle armor from his Ardougnian days, a broadsword in one hand and the Star of Saradomin in another, “The Church, the Voice of Saradomin they call themselves, claiming to have the /Divine Right/ to govern and rule over your Faith. News have come to me, and is spreading of the Church plans to capture the Sovereign State of Misthalin, to undermine their right of self-determination. Their Inquisition, nothing more than a gang of thugs claiming to be under this divine authority. I have always allowed every religion that agrees to live in peace and obey the laws of the Crown to live here to work side by side in Sarimia. Out there, in front of me, I see Saradoiminsts, Armadyleanians, Guthixians,--

--, Goddless, we have stayed here, worked together, and have never allowed a Church, any Church, to stop us from living in peace. But now, on the Eve of our Paradise, they wish to cause war to further their end goals, /their/ goals, not the ones of the People.” Aegidius would drop the star from his hand, it crushing on the ground, “They have lost their way, the Church is festering wound, it’s puss is its corruption, they turned my own son against his liege lord with promises of salvation, that he was doing the correct thing in the eyes of a God, who has only brought destruction to the People in this past Age." Holding the sword in his hand, he swung it back and forth at his side , “They have dropped the Star of Faith, I now offer you the Sword of the People, will you take it, and bear it in the name of the Common Folk of Sarimia? We do not ride to war, we stand here, in our humble land, to ensure the Church will have no safe haven from the long arm of the Law. Sarimia, will and forever shall, stand free of the Hubris of Men that claim themselves to be the voice of a God. For the stability of the Duchy and all of it’s People, the Church must answer for any crimes committed in Sarimia.”

With him finishing, the entire of the People's Court was filled with cheering and the thunder claps of hands. Though a few members, left with looks of distaste on their faces, it had seemed the Duke had won over his People. This was not a deceleration of War, this was to ensure Sarimia, and his People, were protected from outside forces.

I would like to note, that, Sarimia, will not actually be taking part of this War, if it comes to that, this is simply the reaction of what my character would do in his homeland. Happy Hunting.

The Lansing Interdict

It was nailed to the noticeboards and doors of, first, the churches in Varrock, then all of Misthalin. It did not take long for it to be reproduced across the lands, and show its face on every Church in the Human Kingdoms.

Due to the unprovoked aggression towards Saradomin's Holy Church, and thus Saradomin's own Peoples, by the Royal Family of Misthalin, primarily Queen Elrina, we issue an Interdict against the Lansing Family and their Elysian branch. It saddens us to do so, but the falsifying of evidence to undermine our Divinely appointed authority and the incarceration of our Archbishop of Misthalin, who has served nothing but the Lord's interests, demands action.

In light of this Interdict, which denies any who bear the name Lansing or Elysian, and are of relation to the Queen and her father, to the rights of penance, marriage, congregation and so forth, as outlined in the Book of Order, it is approved that, until such a time as Armond is granted fair, public trial, with a non-aligned, neutral and foreign Judge and Supervisor, all Saradominists are to protest non-violently the rule of the Lansing Dynasty over Misthalin.

Until such a time as Armond's trial is brought public and dealt with fairly, this Interdict will lay heavily on all of their shoulders and the Elysian branch, though also suffering this Interdict as a result of the Queen, are supported most fully by the Lord and his Church, as too are the faithful Lansings which remain.

Te Deum Laudamus,
Julian-s Primus.
