Eh

I guess the reason i rp now is because of the people i have met on 42, but originally it was a social thing, i had just been diagnosed with some form of depression and was having irl issues coping and this was a way to talk to people and actually have some human interaction even if it was behind a bunch of pixels. Noice.

I started roleplaying because it was something I had always vaguely heard about, I always wanted to interact with the world and pretend to be who I was playing as. It's also benefited me greatly as I am better at writing creatively. My main reason for roleplay? It's not escapism or anything of the sort but it's playing out something I will probably never get to do in real life. In real life I can't be a king (yet), or a blacksmith or a pirate. I don't have the connections, skills or amorality to do that in real life. But I can here.

It helps me improve my English writing. While that might strike most of you as odd given that English is my native language, it's worth noting that I've never had an English class in my entire life. My wording is often a little weird and I'll move things around because my knowledge of English grammar is influenced by two other completely different languages; being around good writers with decent grammar helps a lot, on the same level that reading does.

Other then that, I enjoy the concept of roleplaying and I like improv. I am going to break your arm so that the bone juts out and then I will stab you to death with your own insides. I will win this chess game, is what I am saying.
