Hey! I don't know if this is necessarily the best place for this but:

I HAVE RETURNED! I don't know if any of you remember me (It was more than a year ago, and regardless, I wasn't the most prominent of RPers), but I have come back, and a few of my friends are trying to start up a new private rp called Black Depths. it's a little Lovecraftian horror/High seas adventure I cooked up that takes place in an alternate Gielinorian timeline. Anyone who thinks that sounds interesting, feel free to post a character bio (or even a ship bio) we're eager to get the story started! fair warning though, you may want to have completed lunar diplomacy (the boat in that quest is perfect for many floor plans) and some of the pirate quests (because sailing ships). If you have any other questions feel free to pm me in game!

This is definitely the best place to put this, but advertising the group is against the FSRs.

I'm not complaining, it looks awesome but I don't have the time to get involved, and spreading awareness of it is coo', but I'm just giving you a heads up that it might be removed, or you could be asked to remove it.

It still functions as a chat thread - but the main function will be to welcome in people and give them the basic run-down of blahdeblahblah.

I think I'm going to revamp this.

I had all these ideas about what a general thread like this would need, all these glamerous posts that would take forever to put together that no one would probably ever read.

Yeah, I think the answer to a good Welcome Thread lies in siplicity.
