No big developments yet, just wanted to make a post informing anybody interested on what's going on.

-Kat/Klitty's plotline revolving around the demon Tanelyx is on partial hold, with small-time and side events happening as we stall out waiting for people to become available for summer. Being the first big plot we've done since starting up, we want it to end just right, it doesn't have to be perfect but more attendance is obviously good.

-Unfortunately, as Lily has left RS again, the Seraphite v2 plotline will have to be put on hold, pending her return.

-New intro to the thread is pending, I think it's time I gave it another revamp.

A letter would arrive in Falador. Upon it was a new wax seal, not seen before; a wreath crown and two chevrons within its perimeter, and encircled with the motto of House Mox “Prosperity, for all peoples” .

Upon breaking the seal, a traditional crest of the old Kingdom of Kandarin in fine gold gilt prominently uplifted the significance of this particular letter. Such a crest had not been since before the rise of the Kandar Empire.

Dear Chancellor,

I thank you graciously for your appointment of the ambassador Thalia Uriel, so soon after these turbulent times in the west. An immediate thawing of relationships between our two states is urgently needed if we are to regain a sense of continuity in daily life. The shadow of Kandar cannot linger indefinitely.

Rest assured, I take the protection of all foreign diplomatic staff seriously. So, I have arranged for her to take residence within the Civil House, situated in the main court of Ardougne's western bloc. I confess that it is not the most luxurious of facilities, but it is far more practical in terms of protection, commute and bedding needs. Existing statutes will also exempt your ambassador from several local property and income taxes as part of her diplomatic status.

Once your Ambassador arrives within the city limits, I will personally see to welcoming her and her escort at the Palace. We have so much to discuss, with the hope of mutually achieving them together as renewed partners, and not as foes.

On a personal note, please pass on my gratitude to His Majesty for such a positive reaction to my anointing as monarch, and to Nicolas for his inelegant but timely intervention. I also wish you the best of luck with your affairs, whatever they may be now this burden is lifted.

Asgarnian Ambassador Thalia Uriel's arrival was well met by the new King of Kandarin in the Ardougne castle. After a brief chat in the main hall with Percival and the Duchess of Summerwyn, the trio sat down for a fine dinner together. Things were light-hearted and peaceful, with not a tense moment to be seen even as Thalia and her guardians left for their established quarters within the Kingdom.

The prospects of peace between Asgarnia and Kandarin are looking bright with this initial interaction and warm welcome. Hopefully things will continue just as smoothly, but only time will tell.

I've updated the Affiliated Threads post to include more than just roleplays happening under the Asgarnian territories. This post now includes affiliated roleplays in general. What this means is, any roleplay group that is recognizing and recognized by this roleplay group, and consents to having themselves advertised here, will be advertised here.
