The land claims thread was nice to see who was doing stuff where and that was about it. I know it's been awhile, but the community got rid of it for a reason. I don't think this is the answer. I'd rather see people get rid of the "you can't sit with us" mentality and go back to more of a freelance friendly environment. There just isn't enough of us left anymore to sustain big chunks of land.

It's not, but it can help :)

Gives you a place to gather if anything. Could help fuel more plots as well!

It's also nice to not always have to start from scratch, Some land can very much help fuel activity.

'new, unbiased player'

Think you'd need a mediating council, if anything. A single player will have tons of stress and chances are would be biased.

EDIT: I'm not opposed to the idea though. For all the nay-sayers who claim "we got rid of it for a reason/it works fine now", it clearly doesn't lol. It's fairly possible the game because less popular, and as a result rp lost population, or it literally is just because rsrp has become utter shite.

I'd actually argue there's more OoC conflict/arguments now than there was then (but maybe my memory is bad).

I feel like the elitist clique has just become a scapegoat for everyone to blame, but honestly it never actually existed how could it? in a community where everyone seems to hate eachother, there is very rarely a time two poks rulers actually like eachother ooc? and something i actually found, it's the people who moaned about this clique that were actually in cliques themselves because guess what it's human nature to want to group with people you like, you know what is the problem with this community though?

Everyone thinks they are are better than the last person, everyone thinks that they are the savior of the community? how many people actually do anything about it though? a handful at most, i don't like the idea of Landclaims but i certainly don't hate the discussion it might bring about, so i'll be waiting to see where this goes if it goes anywhere.
Noice.

It shouldn't matter who owns what piece of land.
You shouldn't need to be a monarch or own any sort of land to make use of it, role-play in it, and generate activity within it. You'll find that RSRP has a lot more potential that people give i t credit for, but it is obscured by the fact that everyone and their mother needs X piece of land, or their character MUST be a monarch or have some form of political power in role-play for anything to be meaningful.
