After the defeat of the Taverley Guard at both skirmishes, and failing to establish a foothold in the town, the surviving members have withdrawn to Asgarnia. They would have established camp, and were discussing among themselves as to what the best course of action from here on would be.

For now at least, the Republic was indeed safe from rebellion, they had won the day, Huzzah!

A hooded figure would teleport into the city of Taverly under the cover of night. They would go about their business quickly and quietly, placing a decent sum of coin and a silver armadylean token at the houses of those who's family members had been killed during the Taverly rebellion, and the druids that had refused their new leader. Donations of coin would also be made to any areas of considerable poverty the figure came across. In total, they would have four thousand coins to distribute, making sure each piece was attributed to the good will of the followers of Armadyl.

The figure would submit to authorities if caught, otherwise they would leave as quietly as they came.

David intends to slowly turn support away from the lord protector and toward the guardians, or at least armadylean ideals. This should provide an avenue for conflict that isn't just full on war.

During their business, it is likely that patrolling Vanguard spotted and attempted to confront the hooded figure skulking around. This can be rp'* if you would like, hmu in game or on Skype. x.

A group of about 50 Vanguard under the command of Captain Edward Hyde was also sent to the dungeon located in the outskirts of Taverley, which had already been lightly scouted, but now it's entrance was gaining a small garrison to delve further inside and uncover the secrets it hit. Plot coming soon!

A decent sized Battalion of Vanguard emerged from the Republic of Burthope's gate, marching in mass toward Avarrocka via Ice Mountain, through Kinshra territory where they should be allowed, as they were on friendly terms with them. Founder of the "Anti-Daniel" gang.

Unless you're marching around via the Wilderness, you're not marching through "Kinshra territory". I'm not going to do anything, but I thought I should clear that up for you. The Kingdom of Asgarnia surrounds Ice Mountain south of the Wilderness border, with the notable exception of that hive of goblins.

With the Kinshra losing Edgeville, all that was kind of obvious to me that I'd have to loop through ice mountain into the Wildy. I mentioned the Kinshra territory to specify I wasn't going to just march down the road but I suppose I should of mentioned the Wilderness as well. Sorry for makin' ya think I was encroaching on your land. Anyways:

The Burthorpe Army arrived at the northern gate of Varrock, only to be given news of the Rebellion's defeat. The Captain of the force scratched his head awkwardly and ordered the force to turn around and head back to Burthorpe, unless the Misthalites had beef and wanted to assault the army that had come to fight them.

Misthalite cavalry harassed the Vanguard of Burthorpe until it left Misthalite territory. The cavalry hung back far enough as to not be within range of any missile attacks and offered no signs of aggression.

Within a few days, a letter arrived in Burthorpe, stamped with the ancestral seal of House Calderon, a grand oak.

"To the Lord "Protector" of Burthorpe,

By Order of her Majesty, Elrina Lansing, your soldiers have been allowed to return home. You have betrayed our pact of non-aggression and broken the internal trust that should exist between allies.

On this day, (23 June of the Sixth Age), you will no longer receive crops from our fields, or the benefits of foreign traffic.

Signed,
Lord Tommen Calderon,
Hand of the Queen. "

The cavalry was met with laughter and taunts, Vanguard daring them to come forth to their lines to meet their spears and swords. The cavalry's presence seemed to be a complete joke to them. As for the letter, one was sent back to Misthalin.

"My troops returned home because you did not have the manhood to assault them. A wise choice for you really. As for the crops, we'll live another day.

Signed,
Lord Protector Jekyll Vortivask,
Your best friend xoxo."

In the absence of Joanna, due to her taking of the throne of Avarrocka, then surrendering it days later, the position of Magistrate of Taverley has been vacant for too long. A new Magistrate has been chosen from the druid population, to hopefully better represent them and discourage them from rebelling against the Republic again. Mirza Okaan will soon take the position alongside the Lord Protector to ensure the stability and peace of the mighty Republic of Burthorpe.

Long live the Republic!
