@Harry:

Can you contact me ASAP about finishing this section of your storyline. A few of our characters are tied up with it and it has had an effect with the pace and strong momentum of roleplays that we had built up.

@Roe:

Any chance you can begin your murder mystery roleplay soon. I know activity has been lacking the last two weeks as we're tied up but there is still plenty of other people. I'm aware you may be busy IRL so there's no need to rush.

@Nero:

Same as above. I'm aware you've been busy IRL, as I'm sure a lot of people are ATM, so there's not a huge rush.

@Zarry:

Same as above. I'm aware your character is tied up with Harry's storyline so you're unable to continue just yet.

@Everyone:

We've suffered a large dip in activity over the last two weeks due to real life events (school, work, exams, etc) and I understand this. The best course of action is, however, to strive to do every little we can. Simply talking in the FC about ideas or even just to say hi let's us all know you're still interested, even if it's once a week.

Many thanks for the success this roleplay has had so far and hopefully, once RL stops getting in everyone's way, we'll continue with the strong momentum we had.

-- bludgeoning the Marshal within the tent, eventually regaining his senses, he realised what he had done - Grabbing the Marshal's sword and equipment, superior to his own, Theodore fled the white knight camp in Northern Asgarnia and with only the sword in his sheath, shield on his back, he headed south.

Prefered storylines: Casual / Adventure / Combat / Political

( Sorry for the long history, Word lied to me and said it was only 1800. )

@Roman:

Storyline application looks all in order so accepted. I ask you wait until other storylines are finished before starting it however.

@Gravin:

Same as the above really. We'll need to discuss more about what we want such organisations to be as a community. For now, introduce your character and hint at connections to the group but, as with roman, don't start the storyline until more characters are freed up.

@Everyone:

With Gravin's application, we should begin discusion on what has been brought up several times; organisations such as the white knights and the black knights. As a community, I believe we should be open to various interpretations OOC as to how these groups should be treated however I will, of course, give my own view.

The White Knights should be an informal term (or slang) given to members of the Templar Order. A branch of the Saradominist Church, which holds dominance in the North of Asgarnia, it is the military might of the faith that acts under its orders. It is not held accountable to the crown but the church, thus giving way to a power struggle in North Asgarnia on who truly rules. The Templars have forts dotted around North Asgarnia but hold Falador, the capital, as their main base of operations. Falador's castle, therefore, is not the seat of the crown which will be moved to a non-canon palace which we'll use the monastry for IC.

The Black knights is, again, an informal term (or slang) given to members of the Kinshra. While, historically, it has had strong connections with Zamorak (who would still be seen as their patron), not all members are zamorakian and many seek justice rather than commit injustices. Originally an army built by merchants, they hail as the people's defenders and, after being expelled from Falador by the Templars, seek to remove the Templars from power. It is rumoured that, from their base in the mountains, they are secretly working with the king (unnamed ATM) to help tip the power struggle in his favour.

The Kinshra are not outlawed in North Asgarnia (same in South under the Duke), despite the desire from the Saradominist Church to do so, and should be able to live unhindered. The Church has, however, poisoned their name in recent decades and, with the Kinshra's expelling from the capital some forty years ago, have managed to turn most folk away from the Black in favour of the White.

None of this is effective canon to this roleplay until further conversation has occurred. It is, however, how I'd see things set as to allow for a political power struggle storyline that does not require nation building as a core element but rather as a consequence. If another idea is pitched that gains more support than this one, it will, of course, take presidence over this one.

Another thing that I will ask the community is names for certain individuals. These are:

-The Duke of Sarim.
-The Pope-like leader of the Saradominist Church.
-The King of Asgarnia. Personally, I favour King Vallace II.
-The Prince of Asgarnia.

These characters will be fleshed out more as we approach the first expansion of this roleplay, thus the need for names, and will feature heavily in North Asgarnia at its start. They'll be treated more as NPCs, although very important NPCs, than roleplay characters.

I'm also considering making the leaders of the two military groups, the Templars and Kinshra, characters to be roleplayed normally. This would add a sense of uncertainty for the future of Asgarnia as the two roleplayers will be able to try and respectfully outplay one another. I'll consider applications for either of these roles when the verdic on these ideas is finalised. The applications that are rejected for the roles, of either organisation, will be accepted (as long as they are acceptable) as lower ranks within the respected group. These characters will, of course, know the political atmosphere better and, thus, their roleplayers will be informed of any crucial information already in play.

@Harry:

I've been unable to reach you through any means since Saturday when we planned to do the roleplay either Sunday or Monday. As several characters are tied up with it, and have been for a while, I am eager to untie them ASAP. Therefore, I wish to conclude the current section of your storyline by Sunday 7 February and no later. If, for any reason, you're unable to reply or do this by then, I'll conclude the roleplay myself and take what I believe to be the most logical path forward while avoid some details, such as Oliver's immediate reaction to Aeldrin's ship's escape and Wallace and Edward's reaction. As we've talked in detail about the storyline, I feel I am prepared, if needed, to conclude this section if needed.

If that is the case, I will have Edward's fleet attempt to stop Aeldrin's escape before being descended on by Oliver's men-o-war and largely destroyed with some of Edward's fleet escaping. This allows us to have future roleplays with Edward and Oliver as antagonists whom work against one another. A*ldrin and co, in the chaos, will escape.

If you're unable to be on to do the roleplay in this time frame but are able to reply, please tell me if this plan is acceptable in the larger frame of your storyline. I don't want to make choices that will later mess up your storyline but we've got to move on now.

@Everyone with a current storyline:

I've had a few responses to my message but nothing solid. I am curious if those with current storylines would, if they're unable to do them ATm due to RL situations, be willing to allow their storyline to be replaced with another for the time being?
