Weapon/Arifcact Name : Eberhardt Family Armor


Owner : Gadriel Eberhardt

Origins : The Eberhardt Family Armor was given to the original founder of the family, Niklas Eberhardt, as a gift from a close friend to symbolize the head of the newfound clan.
Traditionally, the armor is passed down from generation to generation to the current head of the family. The head of the family is usually the most suitable male to lead but it is not uncommon for a strong female to rise up and claim the position.

Design : The armors design pays homage to Saradomin, his symbol is found on practically every piece of the armor including the helmet. It has the appearance of your typical paladin style armor, with thick plating throughout. The metal is white in color with blue trimmings.

Capabilities : The armor has been enchanted with a kinetic dampening effect. Essentially, it disperses the force behind attacks to lessen the blow and reduce the damage done to the armor itself as well as the wearer. This doesn't prevent Gadriel from being swept off his feet or being knocked back by an opponent.

History : Passed on to Gadriel from his older brother Lukas with his dying breath. He made Gadriel promise he would don the armor and rebuild the Eberhardt family.

Talents/Skills: Guan is an expert marksman, being able to perform sometimes incredible shots with relative ease, he is also apt with a blade, so he can defend himself in close combat, though it's certainly not his expertise, Guan is also a very talented engineer, able to produce schematics for some fancy tools.

Weapons/Specialized Tools: Guan carries a blade at his side, and a small one handed clip-fed crossbow which he designed himself, though he's not one for sharing the schematics on that.

Weaknesses: While guan is adept at swordplay, he is physically weak, relying on parrying and retreating to a safe shooting distance rather than fight it out man to man.

Appearance: Guan stands at 5'4, with Medium length black hair, with aristocratic features and a slender frame.

Brief History: Guan was born in the eastern lands, where he was taught by a hunter to use a bow and arrow, using this knowledge, Guan soon joined the military, although shortly left to "follow his own means", on his travels he found his one true love, the crossbow, with it he trained and trained, perfecting the weapon, eventually, he took his crossbow, and began slowly modifying it, eventually creating his fearsome weapon, he then took to life as a bounty hunter, seeing the idea of "heads for gold" as an opportunity to perfect his marksmanship. Weapon Name : Blade of The Repentant

Owner : Gadriel Eberhardt

Origin : As a proud and noble family, the Eberhardt's had many enemies who were jealous of their strength. In order to counter the effects of the families powerful armor, a blade was forged that was capable of making the armor a metal coffin for the wearer to perish in. Ultimately, the Eberhardt's proved too strong for their would be assassins and claimed the blade as proof of their victory.

Design : Although it is a unique and powerful weapon, the Blade of The Repentant is rather average in appearance. In order to disguise the blade and not give away any of its potential abilities, it appears to be no different than a plain old steel longsword. The only distinction is the odd insignia etched into the pommel and the bright white glow it emits when it's ability activates.

Capabilities : When The Blade of The Repentant comes into contact with an object it immediately begins to increase the weight of said object. This effect is gradual and brief contact wouldn't drastically affect anything. Prolonged contact with the blade could render weapons too heavy to lift, yet along swing. Combatants that utilize heavy armor could be potentially be rendered immobile by this effect. Any objects that have had their weight altered by the blade will remain in a heavier state until the blade is sheathed or if the user were to lose possession of it.

History : The blade doesn't have a very storied history. After being claimed by the Eberardt family, The Blade of The Repentant was stored in a display case and was long forgotten. It has been claimed recently by Gadriel to help in his effort to rebuild his family name to prominence.

Weapon/Arifact Name : Saradomin's Aegis


Owner : Gadriel Eberhardt

Origin : In order to pay homage to Saradomin, the founder of the Eberhardt family tasked a talented smithy to forge a holy shield that could withstand great punishment in battle. With the assistance of a powerful mage, a glorious and sturdy shield was created with unique abilities perfect for a paladin.

Design : A large kiteshield with a white metal base and gold trimmings along the outer edge. In the center of the shield is Saradomin's symbol. (Obviously this is blue in color.)

Capabilities : The shield is capable of emitting concentrated blasts of holy light from the symbol in the center. These blasts are extremely devastating to demons, the undead and various unholy creatures. Any other beings struck by these blasts would simply be repulsed a great deal with the potential to be knocked off their feet depending on their distance from the shield.

History : Similar to the family armor, Saradomin's Aegis has been passed down from generation to generation. The bearer of the shield symbolizes the protector of the family and all of it's allies.

So, I will not be as active as i'd like to be for a long time, not going to cry and whinge about my reasons here, anyway, in the event of brimhaven needing someone in it's defence, im temporarily handing it over to Blackthorne until futher notice.
