In lore, none of our characters exist .
I'd argue that only some of our character's don't exist.
In instances where you're roleplaying little Timmy, along with your friends who play Mumma Timmy and Pappa Timmy, and their employment is rather simple, I'd not call that lorebending.
Although if you're playing a King, I'd say that the act of them being King is lorebending, but their existance isn't.
That'd
technically
be called...logic-compliance? But yeah, I feel you.

You'll want to bump it up to page one, preferably first or second post. Otherwise it won't really get read or remembered. Hell, even up there, it's still likely useless.

Honestly, the only things I can see that might need changing are this one sentence:

Some players favor -hyphens- instead because they’re too lazy to hold shift for an asterisk.
And a tweaking of the 'Trends' section to sound less disparaging. Same for the quoted sentence. Other than that, I see little issue with the thread. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure each holder of the guide had their own revisions they've made. Is it really so detrimental to the state of the community if changes are, in fact, made? It's a guide to a constantly evolving pastime on a game. Surely it has to adapt with the flow?
Just my two cents.
"Legacy. What is a legacy? It's planting seeds in a garden you never get to see."

You recall incorrectly. Nat passed it on to Faey, the judgement was upheld by some Mod or another, based on our traditions.

And thus Faeyrin is also entitled to it. If you've got suggestions on revisions, you're also more than welcome to participate.

That was tongue in cheek, but then not everyone understands my humor. Heh.
Also, anyone who wishes to be listed on the mentor post, do say so.

No, I am recalling correctly. When Nat passed the thread on to Faey, the post that Nat made to confirm this was under the condition that the guide was not changed. In addition to this, the all-around drop in quality for this edited guide is, speaking frankly, off-putting.
On top of the trend section, the veiled gripes, and the repetitive wording, the outright removal of content can be brought into question. See the previous thread
here
for evidence of useful content being removed (In the case of the first page in particular, one can see that the OP of this thread has removed both the Themeplay and the Descriptive Gameplay sections entirely).
The trend section as mentioned before is additionally troubling, because it appears to be nothing more than a few judgmental posts about character archetypes bundled with generalizations that frankly don't need to be included in the guide at all.
