The Blackwoods with their massive host dating back from when they ruled the Archduchy of the Northern Reaches marched southwards. Setting up Camp and battle positions at the neck of Sinclair.

Steward of the Family, Katlyn Blackwood rode with a small selection of troops into Camelot proper, met with the new King. Having never swearing oaths to the Vekonic rulers, and had just faded back to their nothern holdings, the Blackwoods were without a liege. In return for keeping their lands north of Seershaven, the Blackwood's and their bannermen would fight for the legacy of Sennis Grey.

They had not forgot who took their place next to the Ardougne and Kandarin throne. It was time to remind Kandarin why the Blackwoods were once feared.

As the turmoil in Camelot continued with men-at-arms and peasants alike settling around the walls of the mighty Keep, the Caliphate would not stand idle in the face of such an event. In the early hours of the morning a well-crafted Kharidian ship would dock in Catherby, unloading its cargo onto the waiting docks.

With so many men in such a small place, so far from their homes and farms. The Khardian Seas Trading Company would begin to set up kebab stalls, profiting on the hungry bellies of such a congregation.

The kebabs had arrived.
We come here with no peaceful intent, but ready for battle, determined to avenge our wrongs and set our country free.

Support for the new King was still pouring in. Throughout the day, three new banners would join the new Camelite banner to signify these houses had sworn allegiance to Thaylon. The golden eagle of the Blackwood, the green raven of the Rovin, and the silver crownbreaker of the Dae. Hedrak himself over saw their raising by his men, a few of which had already made the journey to Camelot to assist the soldiers. In the north, the war engines of the long quiet Blackwoods were beginning to heat up. The men already anxious for a fight. In the west, the Dae soldiers, began war games in their Citadel, scouts roaming the forests, watching and waiting for something to happen.

Hedrak Blackwood, formerly known as Augustus Dae, had sworn his fealty to Thaylon Grey.

As news spread of what happened at Camelot, people in Aethyra, mostly Guthixians celebrated their spring festivities of balefires and drinking, by burning Vekon symbols in defiance. A tipsy Ekaterina Renderra climbed on top of a table, singing to all present.

"This day, This day,
Camelot goes Grey!
This day, This day,
Scare Vekon Away!

Death to the Vekon, may their blood run cold.
Family tree grow withered and old.
Castle beginning, to fill with mold
Death to the Slaughters, hell take them whole!

This day, This day,
Camelot goes Grey!
This day, This day,
Scare Vekon Away!

Thaylon Grey, the knight of Red,
May his sword sever the Vekon heads,
Blood for our fallen of Druid Kind,
The debt is unpaid, until Vekons are dead!

This day, This day,
Camelot goes Grey!
This day, This day,
Scare Vekon Away!

This day, This day,
Camelot goes Grey!
This day, This day,
Scare Vekon Away!"

After much more drinking, some excited bardic instrumentals, and much more booze, the festivities began to slow down.

i love how we decided to humor this

I know I loved it too.

Nah but I should clear that up because clearly a few select individuals are confused.

I approached Alli and Nick to announce my invasion of Camelot to them so that we could arrange the logistics of the battle events that would follow. Obviously, there never was a battle, because I was told to refer to Michelle and then Shrap, who were the current landholders of Camelot under the excuse that "it isn't Kandarin's land to deal with".

So I dealt with the situation with Shrap through a series of OOC discussions and RPs. Thaylon fulfilled a task given to him by Xel Praven**** facto Duke of Camelot and Xel allowed Thaylon to assume the position of King of Camelot and allowed him to declare independence.

If there's anything else that eludes your understand, do tell.
