Personality: Rainey is an optimistic girl, and usually doesn't like to take sides in a conflict. When she does have to choose, she considers using logic over what she feels is right, and even then it still annoys her slightly. She tries to live life by thinking positively, if there is a gloomy mood in the room she might want to try to cheer everyone up with a joke.

Appearance: Rainey is a little shorter than most people, being at 1.6m, naturally her hair is medium brown shaped but she likes to change it from time to time, and she has white coloured eyes. She usually wears a traditional teal eastern robe, with a few golden pieces around the belt area.

History: Mona Demesne was born as the second child of a normal family in Varrock. Her life was seemingly normal, and as a young girl growing up there she didn't expect much of her life, until she met a group of wizards who happened to pass by. She looked at them from afar, saw how they cast their spells and trying out for herself, when suddenly a discovery! She managed to create a small ball of water, which accidentally was shot at the wizards' direction.
The wizards then hurried to battle, but saw a scared little Mona trying to apologize for what she did. They felt nothing against her, and thought to tell her stories of the Wizard's Tower, and to seek that place once she was old enough. The wizards then left, and she tried to train herself how to use magic until the day she felt ready to go to the tower. She heard the rumours of a rebuilding and thought she could help shape it for everyone.
One of the wizards commented on how Mona was a little 'rainy' one, and decided to take on that nickname on herself.

Miscellaneous: Eastern robes seemingly come from an unknown supplier, and there's no real connection between her and the Eastern lands. Do you wanna know why I wear this hat?

Personality: Larissa has a tendency to stay aloof and would according to most have an apathetic attitude, though she has more going on beneath the surface than she lets on. She tends to not want to get attached to other people and will not hesitate to use her sharp tongue to discourage those who would get too close, or those she considers excentric or unprofessional, whom she has little patience with. Though she rarely makes the time to indulge in painting anymore, she is a reasonably proficient artist.

Appearance: Standing at 5'6", Larissa has similar traits to those of her mother Tabitha, with raven hair, delicate features as well as cold and sharp grey eyes. Though possessing inherent beauty, she looks unkempt and frail. Her dark hair is lustreless and messy, she has dark circles under her eyes, and her skin is a sickly pale tone. She wears a set of black robes and thigh boots over tight-fitting translucent silk, and keeps her spellbook close at hand. "Gamers aren't oppressed, but they should be."

History: Larissa is the only child of Lady Tabitha Forsythe, the matriarch of a minor noble house in Kandarin and a former associate of the Wizards' Tower back in the Golden Age of Magic. Growing up, Larissa was a frail child often plagued by illness. While bedridden she studied magic under guidance of her mother, who was more than familiar with the theoretical aspect despite not possessing any actual ability of her own. Larissa on the other hand would turn out to have potential, which she was strongly encouraged to pursue and improve. Though Larissa was destined to one day inherit her mother's title, that changed one fateful day, when she learned of Tabitha's motives of wanting her to become an evoker; using her ability as a means to seize more power. Disgusted over being viewed as nothing but a tool by her own mother, Larissa left her home and spent a few years as a drifter while continuing to hone her skills, occasionally taking odd jobs as a mercenary whenever she stumbled upon a client who didn't have qualms with employing a spellcaster. There was only so much one could learn on their own however - which eventually made Larissa start a pilgrimage towards the Wizard's Tower of Misthalin to continue mastering her powers.

"The doors of the Wizards' Tower have finally been reopened, but they won’t stay open for long without some cashflow. With nothing but a staff and half a dozen runes each, the new students have been sent out to find and complete quests- to earn money for the Tower and hands-on experience for themselves. One such quest has come from Igmund Valdon, the baron of a small village on the coast near Draynor called Araria. He has requested for the wizards to meet him in a pub called The Fowlery for a job that will earn them a total of 100 gp."

I'm hosting a roleplay this Wednesday- tomorrow! Roleplay will start around 4 PM US Central / 10 PM Game Time. It's for low level characters only (15 magic and below- no fire blasts!) and I would like you to keep track of your six runes. I mean you don't have to, but I'd like to try out tying some mechanics into roleplay. Other than that it's pretty much what you're gonna be used to. The Wizards' Tower is back!

Personality: A studious and intellectual individual Corvaux enjoys pursuits of the mind. He enjoys a drink and playing games. Socially he is adaptable though uninterested in kissing-up to others. He is selective when it comes to rules and authority typically following them whenever it suites him. He's quite the hypocrite.

Appearance: Often dawned in Wizards robes or other attire fittings of a mage who spends more time in the archives and libraries of the tower than conducting bizarre experiments or doing the more physically tiring aspects of research.

History:

Trained in Ardougne, Corveux was instructed in the schools of Abjuration, Enchantment, Runic Lore, and Artifice. He has become quite competent in each school of magic after decades of study and training under former masters. He stayed at a variety of institutions studying in their libraries and "borrowing" their rarest books. After a few years he would go to another magical organization and so on. Eventually, he stopped going to a different organization and struck out on his own making a living exploring ruins for their treasurers.

Corveux would delve into dungeons, caverns, ruins and take part in expeditions to find new artefacts, new tomes and anything else that might be useful. This went on for several years, sometimes he would make a small fortune only to blow it on another expedition which would turn out fruitless. He used his skill in Abjuration to protect himself against the occasional zombie or skeleton in some old crypt or labyrinth. He also used his skills in enchantment and runic lore to undue any barriers and appraise and goods found. The Order of Light (W41)

Eventually with the last of his coin being spent Corveux returned to a more traditional way of studying magic. With word of the tower being rebuilt and reopened Corveux sent word to the tower that he would join their rank. He has also made overtures to become its new Librarian or archivist so that he could pour over its tomes.
