Character Name: Arrav of Avarrocka the Seventh (honary title, Arrav in everyday use)

Age: 19

Race: Human

Alignment: Lawful Neutral, casual believer of Guthix

Gender: Male

Personality: Arrav is a cheerful in most situations but dead serious when the situation calls for it. He is loyal to his friends but when someone wrongs him, he won't hold a grudge for long and firmly believes that almost everyone deserves a second chance. He remains calm in stressful situations. He is immensely curious and is able to memorize things very quickly.

Appearance: Arrav has a rather muscular build from training during his childhood. His hair is dirty blonde and he has aqua green eyes. He height is slightly above average.

He wears blue robes, the top is imbued with a magical rune for added protection from enemy spells. He wears a stereotypical pointy wizard's hat, but with goggles on it to put on when he practices runecrafting. The robes are quite flowy, which limits his movements

He wields a staff with a body talisman on top. It grants him acces to most runic altars but he uses it as a quarterstaff when spells aren't an option.

Very conscious that his wealth might attract unsavory types, he carries a dagger to defend himself in an emergency

History:
Arrav of Avarrocka the Seventh was born as the first son of a noble family. Descendants from the Varrockian hero Arrav, his family had acquired immense wealth over the generations and were common guests in the Varrockian Castle. As the first born son, Arrav received training in more traditional forms of combat. As a result, he is to this day rather muscular and has some great stamina.

As the son of a noble, Arrav learned to read and write from Varrock's Court Wizard. He used to ask the wizards hundred of questions during the long an boring banquets, while the wizard would entertain the boy, to whom he took a liking, with simple spells. Over the years, Arrav read many books on the subject of magic, dreaming to one day join the Wizards' Tower.

On the day of his 18th birthday, he breached the subject with his parents. While not totally supportive from the start, his parents eventually saw that it would be good for their son to learn some usefull magic skills, even if it was only to defend himself or to add to the wealth of the family. They gave him a hefty sum of gold, allowing Arrav to buy the necessary equipment and supplies, and he set off towards the Wizards' Tower.
