Analyze big data for the first time in the company's history (not the first time in my career). Basically a lot of documenting the programming/how the system works (SQL and Java). Automating and creating dashboards, processes and likely integrations soon (upgrading the system in the winter). No one really knows anything about it and there is 0 documentation.
Aka stabbing around in the dark with a heavy dose of tedious auditing, tracing and testing.
Also developing a ton of systems and documentation/audits that didn't exist previously and bringing the company to the 20th century (developed a paperless system and getting them on board with automating...which is a fight).
With a side of accounting/auditing/analysis. At least I'm getting into the programming/tech side as opposed to the accounting side which is exactly the direction I want to go in...
...but they also have me presenting a bit, which isn't the direction I want to go in. At all. I want to be the person in the office that doesn't get involved with groups, lol. Particularly when it comes to very technical things.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
