What do you really do?

Or more accurately - What does a community manager do?
I act as the voice of the player to dev teams and to business at large - in meetings I speak of the concerns that RuneScape players might have, how different sections of the community may feel about certain changes or updates and I stamp my foot when I think it is needed. That means I am in most meetings for multiple teams including both expansion teams, platform, client and design teams. I am part of playtests, sprint reviews and retrospectives. I produce sentiment reports to inform the business how you felt about updates, where they key wins were and what we missed on. And then there are the changes - where we need to react quickly I work to make sure the right changes happen for the right reasons.
But I also act as the voice of the devs to players - I write communications, check how and when we are talking about things, liase with marketing about message/promotion/focus.
Sometimes I write stuff, when devs ask me too - such as on the memorial to Guthix, or the easter mini quest. Very rarely I code a little.
I also manage player visits and playtests for RuneScape. I handle moderation review on an almost daily basis. I monitor several email inboxes. I run competitions. I work on some key bits of RuneFest. I process inactive clan leader requests and CLF access.
But I read - I spend significant amounts of my working and my own time reading. Forums, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook and more. All to keep a feel where the community is, what it needs and what we can do to improve your game.
There are no doubt about a million things I have left out of this list but it might give you a better idea "What I really do"

I travel around south Florida servicing A/C units! We install Air handlers (inside the house) and condensing units (outside of the house & sometimes on the rooftops of buildings!)
Working my way up to my 3rd month in this job and honestly have to say I love my job for now because I am helping people keep their homes cool *peace sign* and also seeing something new everyday.
Other than we're under the sun most of the day , another Con is that time is slipping so much faster now than ever.
Have to enjoy the good and the bad because maybe one day I will look back on this and will probably regret not being more happy.
It's going to take some getting used to but for the most part, I am enjoying it and making time for the important things in life such as my family , runescape and the gym!! (gain train , babeehhh)

I go to college for computer information systems, planning on working as a information security analyst. Aside from that I also work in online sales.
