I studied mechanical engineering for my undergrad and currently work as an avionics engineer (electrical engineering + aeronautical science) for Boeing. I work on the flight management computer, specially supporting the aircraft guidance function. I have been involved with flight simulators for a long time and never found it something that I'd be tired of, so I was steered in that direction. I work a team of engineers from different avionics group (flight planning, thrust management, performance, etc) to ensure the products we develop at Boeing meet our customer's satisfaction.
I love avionics too. Great career. I'm not too happy about the news on that aircraft, but all that I've seen elsewhere goes through very rigorous analysis and testing.
I don't see too many mechanical engineers switching to electrical. That is incredible!

I'm medically retired from nursing and military with 100% disability permanent and total. There's not a whole lot I can do.
A couple years ago, I had a Greyhound rescued from the tracks. She was registered with the local Nursing Home as a Therapy Pet. She was the volunteer, I was the one on the other end of the leash. We would go from room to room letting patients/residence pet her and "coo" over her. She soaked the attention up like a sponge. I had to put her down because of stage 4 cancer.
My physical health has taken a nose dive and am unable to walk very far. I use a cane to get around but have to use a mobile scooter if I want to go further than 1/2 block. I'm able to drive, but take my scooter with me.
Now, my world is very much involved with computer games, YouTube, Netflix and whatever I can find of interest on TV. I like to keep up with world news and current events. Politics isn't one of my main interests, but I feel a strong need to keep informed.
I live alone and am the last remaining survivor of my Dad's lineage.
That's pretty much it, boys and girls, moms and dads.

Cool! Avionica is an interesting area although I'm horrible with everything that has electricity involved. Boeing is a amazing company too.
About me, I am an aeronautical engineer, but I don't work in the industry, Im currently a masters student in aerodynamics, I work in two research laboratories, in one of them we work with numerical analysis and modeling and in another I work with race cars vehicles with open wheels (formula), work with computer simulations (CFD). In my free time I help my brother with his recently opened company, I advise students and teach undergraduate students too. I really love what i do!

My name is Athina! I currently work in a bank as a financial service rep! I'm the one you see to open a checking or saving account, along with investments or applying for a loan! I also work the teller line, and solve any problems a customer might have. In addition, I'm the one who makes sure we're compliant with audit stuff, and cash orders.
In my spare time I'm either travelling, cooking, or planning all sorts of fun events on Rs3!
