Let's say your balancing a broom. If you tried it, you would find that the center of mass is closer to the head of the broom. Now when the broom is balanced, is the mass of the two sides the same now?

The mass of the two sides don't have to be the same. It is actually the torques that have to be the same to keep the two sides in equilibrium. One side could have greater mass and that means a greater force due to gravity, but the other side could have more length (a longer lever) to balance things out. Torque is defined as rFsin(theta) or r x F. r is the length of the lever and F is the force.

Study the boxes and begin with the 3X3 and you will notice that all these magical boxes have same number counting paths!! Start from 1 and follow up to the last and highest number. The numbers will hop to other sides.
How many much more do you want?

Here's a quick one

There are two types of waves; there is mechanical and electromagnetic waves. An example of a mechanical wave is sound and an example of an electromagnetic wave is light (though I did hear that light could be considered a particle).

One other thing about these two waves is that a mechanical wave requires a medium such as air to travel while the electromagnetic wave doesn't, so that means light can travel in a vacuum, but sound can't.
