Here's some small facts;

Every second around 100 lightning bolts strike the Earth.

Giraffes often sleep for only 20 minutes in any 24 hours. They may sleep up to 2 hours (in spurts – not all at once), but this is rare. They never lie down.

Without its lining of mucus your stomach would digest itself.

At 15 inches the eyes of giant squids are the largest on the planet.

The world’s smallest winged insect, the Tanzanian parasitic wasp, is smaller than the eye of a housefly.

Every hour the Universe expands by a billion miles in all directions.

The largest dinosaur ever discovered was Seismos*urus who was over 100 feet long and weighed up to 80 tonnes.

Our oldest radio broadcasts of the 1930s have already travelled past 100,000 stars.

Love this thread, keep up the interesting stuff c:

I've heard someone say that "animals are g--", so this made me think.

we know by the commutative property that a+b = b+a

or

d/(dx) (f(x)g(x))= f'(x)g(x) + g'(x)f(x) which is also equal to g'(x)f(x) + f'(x)g(x) thanks to the commutative property.

If we apply the commutative property to the statement I have in quotation mark, we find that "g--s are animals".

Q.E.D. "g--s are animals"

Lol no need Jokku; just felt like having a bit of fun that day.

On a serious note here's something from what I've learned on my own about circuitry.

A transistor could be considered a control valve of sorts for current and it is ubiquitous in modern day electronics.

Hey JOKKU23 are you a physicist? I ask this because I'm curious. Make RuneScape Great Again usually on at 3:00 PM PST

Something interesting I learned when I was taking Physics 1 (Mechanics). Anything with mass is considered an object.

I hear of feminists complaining about women being viewed as objects, but it's technically not wrong to view women as objects based on the information above.

Since women have mass, they fulfill the prerequisite of what an object is. Therefore women are objects.
