I just watched
What's Eating Gilbert Grape
1993 again. There is something about this movie that I really like.

It is about Johnny Depp looking after his mentally disabled brother (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his morbidly obese mother while other things are going on in his life.

If you haven't seen it I recommend it.

That's one of those film s that I should have watched but never got round to it. I will. One day.

I watched both
A Quiet Place
movies last night, both brilliant though the first one is better in my opinion.

Just watched The Flash. A-, quite a few scenes with horrendous CGI but I liked the return of Zod and 1989 Batman.

Keaton returning as Batman is tempting, I'll wait til it's available to stream though.

I watched a brilliant comedy from 1996:
Mars Attacks
.
Loads of fun :D

Last night I watched England vs Malta, then a few more episodes of
Mad Men
which is rapidly becoming one of my favourite old shows, absolutely brilliant.

I watched the first episode of
The Walking Dead: Dead City
2023

Whether you like TWD or not you might know that Maggie and Negan are arch rivals, but they make a good team in this mini-series. I really liked the first episode.

Lastnight I got into what I think is 1 of the best movies onf the 1980's.

Mel Brooks History of the World part 1.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082517

It's not a movie for everyone. It might not go down to well with some of todays society*. It has things that make you laugh and laugh a lot.

I just love Mel Brooks movies. Has to be 1 of the best movie makers out there and still making movies.

Watch at your own risk. :P

* I wanted to put
snowflakes
there but might be pushing my luck, ;)

I watched this in bed on my new Lenova Thinkpad. :)

Me too, I think my favourite is
Young Frankenstein
, though everything he's done is hilarious.
