I finished the first season of
The Morning Show
last night and the last episode was some of the best television I've seen in ages, so much tension!

I fancy a good horror film tonight, time to start scouring.

I watched a good movie on TV tonight called
The Glass Castle
2017.

Its quite sad from start to finish starring Woody Harrelson as an alcoholic father raising a family in rural USA. Its based on a true story.

Finished up

Just superb. You should watch it. Nuff said.

I didn't even make it to the end of the first episode, really wasn't keen on it... it seemed like just another teen angst show.
Most of the reviews are positive though so maybe I just need to stick with it.

I watched a brilliant film with an awful title:
The Witch: Part 1 - The Subversion

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8574252

I love most Korean films, I really can't think of one I haven't enjoyed and this is no different, it's excellent stuff.

If you try to imagine a mashup of Jason Bourne/Hannah/Eleven (from Stranger Things) that'll give you a good idea of the plot and character.

Highly recommended.

At 1.50am I watched South Korea vs Ghana. The best match I have seen in this World Cup.

Then I watched
The Wonder
2022. Its a period drama set in the 1880's in Ireland during the potato famine.

Although there was food to eat, a girl refuses to eat or drink water for 4 months. Its slow paced but I enjoyed it.

After that I watched
Room 203
2022. Its quite a good horror movie.

I watched another really good movie. I think Rooh would like this one.

It's called
Raven's Hollow
2022. It's a 'Gothic Horror' set in the 1830's. I won't tell you any more about it because I dont want to spoil it for you. It has Kate Dickie starring in it who was Lysa Arryn in Game of Thrones. But it has many other good actors in it as well.

I just happened to watch a few good movies lately, but this one I really liked.

Thanks, I really like the sound of that, love a gothic horror.

Last night I watched one of my favourite scifi films:
Lucy
(2014)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2872732

A great (and really original) idea, starring Scarlett Johannsson, Choi Min-Sik and Morgan Freeman.

Watched the first two episodes of the new
Willow
series on Disney+, a sequel of sorts to the (now classic) 1988 movie of the same name.

It's okay. I don't think it lives up to the hype/expectations yet, given that Lucasfilm and ILM are involved again, but at least some suitably scary villains have made an appearance. Will keep watching, but definitely hoping for some improvement.
