It was pretty good about a bunch of young people going up into the Appalachian mountains, and get more than they bargained for.

Its not quite
Deliverance
and in some ways its better.

It has a strange twist at the end.

I started watching
The Sandman
last night but gave up about 20 minutes in.

The weird "artistic decision" (using the wrong aspect ratio) the director had chosen to use put me off, it just looked like a technical error.

I started watching "
I Just Killed My Dad
" instead, another one of those documentaries with dramatised re-enactments. Really interesting (and obviously shocking) so far.

, and gutted that there aren't more episodes... so many incomplete plot points which I doubt that the movie is going to tie up...

House of the Dragon
season 1 episode 1, and the prequel set 200 years before the events of GoT.

House Targaryen were always my favourite GoT family so I was very happy George R.R. Martin made this prequel happen.

episode one done!
A promising start - a tad slow but you expect that in the first one as characters are established.
Paddy Considine was a good call for that role.

An unexpected bonus was that SKY showed it in 4K/HDR with Dolby Atmos.

Just when I thought I couldn't stand another zombie series... I discovered

(2019)

A really different take on the genre and the emphasis isn't just on the Zombies, there's a great story with family and clan feuds.

I love Korean horror and this one is exceptional, I can't believe it took me three years to discover it!

I'm not a big fan of the MCU, but for some reason I've watched the first 2 episodes of
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

Not sure I know why I bothered. It's clearly trying to be funny, but the humour just doesn't seem to hit the mark very often. Disappointing, after

, which were both very good in different ways.
