I watched a film this afternoon called
Samaritan
2022 with Sylvestor Stallone. Its a sci fi action adventure with a bit of a twist at the end which I saw coming thanks to hints during the film. I enjoyed it but would probably not watch it again.

Nope
. It was good imo with western and science fiction themes. A bit of a strange movie but had good acting and cinematography.

The Black Phone
I had to wait 6 months before it became available, but both movies lived up to the hype for me.

Its very good imo. I thought it would be hard to match Game of Thrones but House of the Dragon has picked up well in the second episode and is getting exciting.

It will be good to hear what you think of it.

Yep it'll take a while to get up to GOT standards.

I think it needs to introduce loads more characters (maybe they did that in ep 2?) as the first episode concentrated on a very small group of characters.

I'm a huge fan of Paddy Considine so I'm really interested to see where his story goes.

I saw that this movie Samaritan was available about a week ago, but when I saw Sylvestor Stallone acting in it I didnt want to watch it.

But when I saw your post I decided to watch it and was pleasantly surprised. Its actually not a bad movie.

Yeah I like the characters who play King Viserys and Prince Daemon.

I am not so much a fan of Princess Rhaenyra, but maybe she will grow on me. I think it is because she does not have the beauty of Daenerys, or the strength that Daenerys had.

I like the girl that the king wants to marry, and she is the best friend of the princess, but I think this might cause problems between the princess and her friend in the future.

Pure speculation from me but I think she's gong to be very interesting, she reminds me a lot of Daenerys; she's not afraid of anyone or anything and is very strong willed.

Episode two definitely stepped things up a notch in terms of story and character development.

Fall 2022


Its really good imo about 2 women who are extreme rock climbers and decide to climb a 2000ft radio tower, but everything goes wrong.

This movie kept me going from start to finish.

One girl had to put her cell phone in the body of her friend and drop it to the ground to get reception
