My interpretation was
She saved the town from everyone becoming aliens and reconciled with her best friend who died
Although the spaceships in the sky at the end I couldn't explain.

There are quite a few theories about the ending on IMDB, some make sense, some don't.
I'm still confused :P

Last night I watched
Nighbooks

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10521144

A great take on a Hansel & Gretel type of story with the excellent Krysten Ritter as the witch.
A bit of a kids film but really good.

I watched a cool movie called
God is a Bullet

Its about a cop who wants to rescue his daughter from an evil cult and it involves getting body tattoos and even facial tattoos. Its quite violent at times. But its based on a true story.

Cheers, I'll look out for that one.

I watched a great old favourite from 1996 (can't believe it's that old!)
Twister

Loads of fun and drama... and brilliant effects.

I also watched part one of the new
Beckham
documentary on Netflix.
What a talent, he really was incredible.

The Expanse S02E13, which is the season finale.

The protomolocule now has got a foothold on Venus at the Eros crature, and the protomolocule creature that boarded the Riconanti was killed by using the drive engine after luring it outside with a radioactive warhead by the doc.

For some reason, I've never seen The Expanse, I really should check it out.

Last night's entertainment was
Totally Killer

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11426232/
It's like a Back To The Future/Scream/Halloween mashup.
Loads of fun and highly recommended.

After that I watched a few episodes of what is probably my favourite ever comedy series:
Scrubs
.
I never get tired of watching it, great writing and a perfect cast,

Started watching "Invasion" - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9737326/

This one is rather slow, but I find it watchable. It's not the greatest TV show out there on aliens, but it's still keeping me interested enough to continue watching. Almost finished with the 1st season.

I watched the movie called
Nightbooks
that Rooh recommended and I enjoyed it from start to the end, even though it is a bit of a kids movie. I liked the Hansel and Gretel part of the story at the end as well.

Glad you enjoyed it :)

I started watching
The Continental: From the World of John Wick

As you can guess from the title it's a JW prequel all about the hotel and the organisation behind it.
I wasn't sure how well this would work but it's really good.
