It was long... and it was just ok, bits of it really dragged though and it could easily be an hour shorter without losing anything vital.
I've seen a couple of documentaries that go more into the technical side of things, but this is more of a character study.
Cillian Murphy is brilliant, as always.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?
Kenneth Branagh's 3rd outing as Hercule Poirot, this one based on one of Agatha Christie's lesser known works 'A Halloween Party', which afaik hasn't been made into a movie or TV episode before. This is a complete change of pace from his
Murder on the Orient Express
and
Death on the Nile
.
Branagh is great, so is Michelle Yeoh, and so is 13-yr old Jude Hill. Also features Tina Fey (of all people) playing an American Ariadne Oliver, along with Riccardo Scamarcio, Camille Cottin, Kelly Reilly and Jamie Dornan.
VERY atmospheric, and very spooky. This is not your grandma's Poirot by any means.
10/10.
~~~~ Just another victim of the ambient morality ~~~~
Watched a classic last night that never gets old. Space Balls.
Don't ever think the reason I am peaceful is because I do not know how to be violent.
Ekki hugsa alltaf að ég sé friðsælt vegna þess að ég veit ekki hvernig á að vera ofbeldi.
