No spoilers: CGI better than The Flash, other than one scene early in the movie (you'll know it when you see it) and a few scenes were lacking CGI due to the small budget. Family dynamic was fantastic especially for one scene near the middle of the movie. For the visuals that worked they used up the budget well. Music, especially for the intro had some nice synth to it. Movie did feel a CW episode but I kinda liked that. Villains were ok, nothing special pretty generic. Tbh not really one you need to see in theaters, more of a streaming type movie.

Binged the first season of Marvel's
Daredevil
(2015).

I'm really not much of a fan of superhero movies/series, and certainly not of the ridiculously large and complicated Marvel Extended Universe (yeah yeah, I know, I'm a Star Wars geek, and SW is just as a large and complicated, but that's different: I grew up with it :P )

BUT someone suggested I give Daredevil a try for its noir vibe... and wow, were they right. Very atmospheric, very dark, fully deserves the 18+ rating Disney+ have slapped on it. Vincent D'Onofrio, in particular, makes a compelling villain, and it's very easy to feel a lot of sympathy for him as his backstory comes out.

Looking forward to getting into season 2 next :)

^ Yeah I enjoyed Daredevil more than I thought I would too.

I've resisted Ahsoka so far as I intended to save them all to binge but I think I might cave in and watch the first two later,

I watched this Norwegian foreign film again called
The Trip
2021. Its very good. I don't understand why it is called an action/comedy because it is very violent and possibly a horror movie. I watched the dubbed version this time.
