South park.

I haven't seen any South Park in quite a while, it's about time I did.

My viewing last night was
Guardians of The Galaxy 3
.

I deliberately avoided all the reviews before watching, I didn't even watch the trailer as I love these films and wanted to see it without any preconceptions.

It's a great third instalment - pretty dark in places, some (though not as much as usual) humour, and a really good story, centering mostly on Rocket.

Another nostalgia trip for me last night with the finest martial arts film ever made:
Enter The Dragon

There are more violent films, there are better produced and slicker films but this one is special as it created a superstar and boosted the awareness of martial arts in the west massively.

Tragically, Bruce Lee never got to see the film's release and the sensation that it caused, but what a legacy to leave behind.

Last night I watched
Edge of Tomorrow
(2014)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1631867

A really good scifi action film with a "Groundhog Day" aspect to it.
Loads of fun and Tom Cruise And Emily Blunt are great in it.

“I Think You Should Leave” on Netflix.
A pretty funny show (at times) with Tim Robinson
Worth checking out if you like goofy skits and/or have a Netflix subscription

I'll definitely check that out.

I watched a (very, very) dark comedy last night. At least that's how it's described but there's very little humour....
Promising Young Woman

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9620292

A young woman (Carey Mulligan) has been traumatised by a tragic event in her past, and seeks revenge.
Not an easy watch in some places but a great film, excellent story, and Carey Mulligan is perfect as the lead.

I fancied something spooky last night so I decided to re-watch the TV version of
The Exorcist
.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5368542

The first film will always be the best for me, but this TV version is a really good effort.

I watched
Whale Rider
2002 again. It stars Keisha Castle-Hughes and is an emotional movie about a young girl struggling to rise above her place in her position as a female Maori.

There is a mass whale stranding and the girl does actually ride a whale

I'm watching Horrible Histories on Hulu.

Go ahead and judge me, for a kids show this is hilarious and even though I know most of the material presented I'm finding it enjoyable. British children are so lucky to have grown up with this show that would likely never air on American networks without parents complaining, lol

Horrible Histories are brilliant.

My absolute favourites are
Dick Turpin:

I've been watching Season 3 of
Only Murders in the Building
, which got off to a flying start with the same character being murdered twice... :D
