Watching all of Bruce lee's films again, starting with Big Boss. Never appreciated the soundtrack until now. I love how he basically goes from "I promised to never fight again" to "I've had enough, you all die now"

I think Enter the Dragon is his best film, followed by Way of the Dragon. The colosseum fight is probably his most iconic scene but it's really the only highlight of the film. EtD is quality from start to finish and has a great cast of characters.

Did you buy the new box set Matthew?
I couldn't resist it and like you, enjoying them all over again.

Agreed that ETD being his best, my favourite martial arts film ever.

edit to add:Terry Pratchett was a genius and no-one can replicate his sense of humour or style

Absolutely, I loved all his books.

Did you know that after Terry died the hard drive from his computer that had all his ideas on was destroyed? It was done in a very "Pratchett" way...they ran it over with a vintage steam roller!
Edit to add: it had at least 10 unpublished works on it.The steam roller was called Lord Jericho

I've never heard that story, and yes, it's "Very Terry" :D

Back on topic I watched a film called
Eagle Eye
2008.
Its about an AI system going rogue. I didn't realise who or what was calling the shots for a long time. Maybe I'm a bit naive when it comes to technology :P

I watched a film on Amazon Prime called
Last Sentinel
. I wish I hadn't bothered. I'm glad it was included and I hadn't paid extra for it. To be honest I won't watch things that aren't included in the subscription.

Over the last couple of nights I've binged
Hijack
(Idris Elba, 2023)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19854762/

Despite a couple of huge plot holes, I've really enjoyed it.
Like 24, it plays out "in real time" and really keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Last night's viewing was
John Wick 4
.

I'd been putting it off until I had plenty of time to watch it as everyone said it's too long.
It is. By about an hour. But... it's actually a pretty good film.

Loads of fights - almost the whole film to be honest :P
