Just watched the Saw X trailer. Nice to see the original Jigsaw back. The first installment was the most memorable and disturbing. Spiral was just O.K.

I started the new series of
Good Omens
on Amazon.
It's so long since the first series (2019) that I'd forgotten all about it, but it's absolutely brilliant.

Details here:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1869454/

Based on a book by
Terry Pratchett
and starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen as a Demon and an Angel who aren't officially allowed to haver anything to do with each other... but become the best of friends.

Very very funny, superb script, outstanding cast... you can probably tell how much I love this show.

Highly recommended!

I love the series! :D The original Good Omens book was written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The first season covered the whole book so I was confused about how there could be a second season. It turns out that Neil Gaiman and John Finnemore wrote the sequel for TV. I recently watched the last episode and I'm sad how it ended but maybe there'll be a season 3.

I started season 2 last night... and really struggled to get into it =/
Pratchett's influence and a lot of his style is missing from the second series and I thought a lot of the humour fell flat.

I'm really disappointed as I loved season one.
I'll try to finish it this week (watched 3 episodes so far) but it's a bit of a slog :P

I agree season 2 isn't as good as the first but I did want to know how it ended. I was disappointed. Even for a fantasy story it wasn't believable and seemed rushed.

edit to add:Terry Pratchett was a genius and no-one can replicate his sense of humour or style

Watching all of Bruce lee's films again, starting with Big Boss. Never appreciated the soundtrack until now. I love how he basically goes from "I promised to never fight again" to "I've had enough, you all die now"

I think Enter the Dragon is his best film, followed by Way of the Dragon. The colosseum fight is probably his most iconic scene but it's really the only highlight of the film. EtD is quality from start to finish and has a great cast of characters.
The age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever.
