Just got the news. Season of the Witch will arrive next Thursday, the 19th so I will pick it up on the 20th. David just posted this on facebook:

" In answer to over three dozen emails, I will state this...did my readership actually think I would leave the Event Group men and women in such a bind at the ending of 'Season of the Witch' without some serious 'Event' happening in the next installment? Nothing is the way it may appear! Coming Next----A former brilliant antagonist is now----'Master of the World.' "

Could mean the matchstick man who was teased to have survived at the end of Empire of the Dragon tries to take over the world. Hoping for a September 2020 release. Again, I will be sure to order it as soon as it comes out.

For some reason Season of the Witch is available at the physical store yet isn't listed on the website. And someone on facebook said apparently in Supernaturals 2 it's revealed that the main character is actually friends with Director Compton. Interesting, perhaps David is making his own shared universe.

Just picked up Andy McDermott's King Solomon's Curse from the bookstore.

Picked up Season of the Witch today now I'm on page 140. My theory about the "witch" was correct. A little annoyed that the author himself posted massive spoilers in his newest facebook post as I was hoping for this book to be my first Event Group book that I knew nothing going in. Currently will read this book, then finish off Bastard Legion: War Criminals then Stygian then King Solomon's Curse. At least Andy McDermott never posts spoilers to his own books, even if they're years old.
