Currently reading The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco.

It's been super hard to pull away from.

I finished Bright We Burn by Kiersten White the day before yesterday. That one was really intense.

Just finished Anvil of Stars. Interesting quantum entanglement technology used here. His War Dogs trilogy was pretty good although as usual the author leaves plenty of unanswered questions in a murky universe. Now I'm reading Stargods by Ian Douglas.

I'm working a lot on self-motivation this year - have been for the past few years, actually - so my books are, currently, centred around that. The most recent one I've read cover-to-cover is 'The Miracle Morning' by Hal Elrod - which talks about the first hour you're awake being the most-important one in your day. There's a lot more to it, obviously - but, it's a brilliant place to start! Within the same genre, I'm re-reading 'Finding Ultra' by Rich Roll - once again, a brilliant book. Discusses the dangers of addiction, which is something I'm big on studying. This one is a bit more exercise-orientated, though.

When I feel in the mood for some escape - and, I think I may be a little late to the party with this one - 'Betrayal at Falador' is fantastic. That, and Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' - alternating between the two!
I like Volvos.

Good news, The final Jack West Jr book is coming out sometime this year according to this reddit announcement on Matthew's subreddit. The wait continues for The Two Lost Mountains.

Nothing but I REALLLLLLY want to one day get my hands on the complete works of Flavius Josephus. His account of things will help me with a project and fun fact - it's written by a historian that's been dead for close to 2k years.

Just finished reading Stargods. Great Technological Singularity book. Definite end to the series, but I could see a spinoff happening. Now I'm reading The Redemption of Time. Very short book not longer than 300 pages total.

The most recent time I remember reading a decent chunk of a book is last year when I read half of Season of the Witch the hour I got it. Most books I can't just sit down and read until it's finished, I get antsy and have to walk around after a while. On page 32 of The Redemption of Time.

Book reading order: The Redemption of Time, then The Terrans by Jean Johnson, then Out of the Dark when I get it then Into the Light. I'm hoping to still be on The Redemption of Time by next Saturday otherwise I'll read the entire theirs not to reason why 8 book series in one go, then the David Weber books.

David just posted an update on why the next Event Group book got delayed. Let's just say some people take a fictional universe too seriously and don't know it's supposed to be pure fun with made up material for entertainment. The villains in the books are sometimes over the top as to be almost a parody and that's a good thing. A sub that can move at 300 miles an hour? Bigfoot? Werewolves? Airbenders? Time and dimensional travel? Escapist entertainment that I've read multiple times since they originally came out and that has always been enjoyable. That's all I'll say until the next update.
