On page 146 of The Redemption of Time. Book is more tell than show but I'm liking this fan fiction addition to Three Body Problem. Interesting take on the explanation of the Fermi Paradox and what quasars really are.
New reading order: The Redemption of Time, Out of the Dark and then Into the Light.
On page 202 of The Redemption of Time. Haven't seen changing the laws of math itself as an actual weapon in the universe's war state although the attack used on Singer's civilization is certainly a unique weapon I've never read in any scifi books. Math as a weapon would be a highlight for any fermi paradox related books.
Just finished The Redemption of Time. Ending reminded me of the ending of The Fermi Paradox by Brandon Overall, that's what I can say about that. Now I'm reading David Weber's Out of the Dark.
I'm reading "The Speed of Light" by Elissa Grossel Dickey.
Its her debut novel and is about a young woman coming to terms with her multiple sclerosis diagnosis, a new relationship and a dangerous situation at work. It swaps between 2 time lines. I'm really enjoying it and reading a lot more than usual so I can find out what happens!
On page 198 of Out of the Dark. Fantasticfiction finally has the official name Solar Warden #2 it's called Alien Hostiles but I knew this a while ago. Projected release date: December 2021. One book a year sounds like a reasonable publishing rate for this author. Honorverse has too many books for me to keep up right now, 28 will fill up my the rest of the empty spaces on my bookcase completely.
I finished The Speed of Light and enjoyed it a lot. Then I read Murder of the Bride by Faith Martin which I also enjoyed. I have just started Crime in the Fens by Joy Ellis. I haven't read anything by this author before. I need to get further into the book before I'll know if I like it.
