Icebreaker by Viktor Suvorov, a KGB defector who's analyzed the history of the Soviet Union in a way which makes so much sense, yet to us westerners seems so difficult to understand, as their mentality was radically different from ours, and a lot of things they did to their own people were so brutal, one thinks of how in the world this kind of thing could ever spring forth. Sometimes one must operate within the
shadows
to serve the
light
. For a man makes no noise over a good deed, but passes on to another as a vine to bear fruits again in season, in order that the world may ever be new.

Finished Fix by Ferrett Steinmetz. Now I'm on page 370 of the thessaly complete trilogy. Great news, Empire of the Dragon is released on Kobo on June 12th. David announced on facebook that it was bumped up a month from its original release date of july. This is promising news as I am definitely buying this as soon as it is available in hardcover form.

Just preordered Only Human by Sylvain Neuvel. Sadly its the last book in the Themis Files. Accidentally forgot my book I'm reading at someone's house, have to get it later this week. On page 420 or something on it. Finally there was a sort of a fight, a very short one though.

I'm considering buying the Illuminatus! Trilogy and The Schrodinger's Cat Trilogy, but I need that cash for buying tickets for opening night Deadpool 2 with poutine and Solo: A Star Wars Story on the following Tuesday. And my mom wants a new thermos. When mom wants something, she gets it.
