After I finish the thessaly Trilogy I'll be reading The Uploaded, then Off Rock, then maybe reread Andy Mcdermott's books for the 5th time. Even knowing everything that happens, he's just great. A true gem of an author.

Just finished the thessaly trilogy. Will get jo walton's other 3 books available, just in 7 years or so. Not in a rush, not a fan of authors who barely put any action in their books. Now I'm reading off rock by kieran shea. Already spoiled myself what the ending is but its still good.

Apparently mahjtic is coming back in whatever way in Empire of the Dragon? I don't see how that's possible when he's been dead for 5 years (Overlord takes place in 2013, assuming Empire takes place in 2018). His corpse is pretty much an alien skeleton by now. David said this was leaked on facebook. But however they bring him back, I hope he's not an alien zombie or vampire, that would be really wack. I'm assuming there must be some sort of regeneration plot point that allows a dead person, even if they're a skeleton to completely regenerate alive. And the mineral that allows ftl travel, perhaps the Event Group will travel to the Gray alien fleet still stuck without fuel to rescue some green aliens in a future book?

Just hoping the world doesn't end so one of the master thriller authors can continue his books forever.

Unfortunately I calculated my cash. I cannot purchase the final book in ben bova's star quest trilogy survival for $14. I'll probably buy it in august since I need to buy the Illuminatus! Trilogy and Schrodinger's Cat trilogy this month and David Golemon's Empire of the Dragon hardcover in June. I cannot go under a certain amount of cash. I will nawt!

Going to the mall bookstore to ask when Andy Mcdermott's King Solomon's Curse is coming out. It's not even on my bookstore's website yet and it was apparently released on the 5th of april. I am willing to pay any price for Andy Mcdermott.

Good news. The supernaturals will be available in paperback in october. Empire of the Dragon apparently not even in the database yet. And King Solomon's Curse not in the database yet because it won't be released in canada for another year. Completely forgot that The Midas Legacy states at the end that King Solomon's Curse is released next year as canadian release is a year slower.

Apparently the blurb on goodreads for Bright Light Star Carrier #8 is the group is going to an alien planet to get their AI to defeat the multiversal aliens.

...But that was already done in Dark Mind. Is Ian Douglas running out of ideas? At least its the penultimate book. And since he is American he doesn't delay the release of his books to canadians. Still need to read his other 9 book long series. Too bad warstrider isn't available here.
