Just recently thought of Runescape themed Sims for The Sims 3 so I thought I'd list them here incase anyone else wants to try making these Sims, not thought of how they'll look yet or what I'd call them- the names I'm about to list are what Runescape roles they're based off, not necessarily their names ingame lol, I myself plan to make these sims sometime to see how I do with them :) anyway here they are

Skiller
Traits:
Ambitious
Natural Cook
Angler
Green Thumb
Artistic

Self explanatory really, It's the skiller so training non combat skills is his favourite thing to do so these traits fit :) he's gonna be the supplier for the other sims when they need food and could make some money too

Inventor (Ambitions and Into The Future required)
Traits:
Ambitous
Eccentric
Bot Fan
Handy
Hates The Outdoors

Best I could do for Invention lol, this sims likes to make Robots and I guess Handy with the whole "being good with machines" theme, plus It'll help him with upgrading items in the game, which is kinda like invention since you give the items improvements or new uses (like invention's perks I guess), Hates The Outdoors is to stop him getting in a worse mood when kept in too long, but that can always be replaced with Night Owl if you want to just focus on his wishes and whatnot while the other sims are sleeping (since you'll get a mood boost at night but a mood reduction if woken out of bed too early :P ) although this will need the Supernatural expansion.

[Continued on next post]
200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

Mage (Supernatural and Pets required) - This sim works best if made in to a witch as they cast spells, either made as one in create a sim or turned in to one.
Traits:
Ambitous
Supernatural Fan (as a witch and a mage it's gonna be useful to learn the Alchemy skill faster)
Genius (since being a mage is all about using the mind, and sims with this have a great mind, and maybe you'll find some use for the faster gain in Logic Skill, I just chose it because it fits :D )
Animal Lover (alright, maybe it could be more necromancy instead of just mage, and this is the closest I could find to Summoning in this game, obviously not using stuff to fight but instead just wanting animals as companions, but it's still gonna be fun).
Dog Lover/Cat Lover/Equestrian (obviously depends if you're going to have mostly dogs, cats or horses)

The Necromancer of course, casts spells, gets a boost to making magic potions and enjoys having animals round but best you can get in Sims :)

Quester (World Adventures needed)
Traits:
Ambitous
Adventurous
Disciplined
Artistic
Bookworm

This is of course, the sim who's out and about a lot, and artistic and bookworm are easy ways to make money on the go and gain lifetime happiness points if you let this sim carry an easel and computer with them, Adventurous will help a lot when he's on the holiday destinations, and Disciplined will improve the Skill gain in Martial Arts to help in Tombs (which you get with the World Adventures destinations :) ) as well as a small boost in Athletic skill, optionally you can replace Bookworm or Artistic with Athletic for even faster Athletic skill gain, or if you have University Life and go to University, graduating - by getting all the credits in a course and reaching the top of a social group get you an extra trait each letting you have all 6 (7 if you can think of another to have)

[Continued on next post] (I'm sure taking up pages fast with my descriptions lol)
200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

Gamer (he's playing Runescape a lot)
Ambitous
Genius
Workaholic (since he's using the computer a lot, it's handy to have the option to work from home on the computer to boost job performance)
Hates The Outdoors (again this one is to prevent a bad mood when being in too long)/Night Owl (again if you have Supernatural and want a mood boost from being up past midnight).
Couch Potato (if you want a challenge, this sim will need to be in bed longer but get more fun from TV in addition to getting more of a mood boost when they're comfortable)/Bookworm (since writing Novels is done on the computer and Bookworms get a boost to the writing skill)

Sliske (just what I might call him, he's the Sliske of Sims 3 as you'll find by the traits in a second) - Supernatural needed if you choose to make him a mage.
Traits:
Ambitious
Evil
Genius (if he can make a maze like the one just under a couple weeks back, surely he is)
Mean Spirited
Supernatural Fan (needs supernatural)/Couch Potato (just so you can laugh at him falling asleep more and not causing chaos)

Anyway that's all I can think of right now for Runescape themed Sims at the moment, of course if you have any trait combinations that could make a fun sim to play, I'd love to hear them!! :D haven't thought how these Runescape themed sims would look yet, lol.

My misses plays the game non-stop when I'm not hogging the laptop playing RuneScape.

I don't get it personally but her motto to me she loves is; For when you can't control your own lives, control others... in sims.

That's one of the things I love about it :D

I played the original Sims when it first came out 17 or so years ago, when I was a kid. It turned out to be one of my most played games (along with Runescape and WoW). I loved designing homes, and now I make a living out of it being an Architect! :)

I'm looking to get that one soon in the future with my money. I also loved The Sims: Bustin' Out very much. Most of the time I just like to burn the entire house down and do other stupid things. The original Sims has some of the creepiest soundtracks when something bad happens.

I've only ever owned one Sims game which was Bustin' Out for the Gamecube. I did play a tiny bit of some of the others but never enough to really get in to. A friend of mine on the other hand was almost always playng one of his many versions (and then stopped for a few minutes of RuneScape, mainly to show off his Drag Med and DBAxe which was funny cos I was jealous of his Fremmy Warrior helmet back then).

I'll have to look into getting another Sims game when I've finished my current list of things to do, It was fun locking a guy (who conveniently looked like the school bully) into a small room and burning him alive.

That is pretty funny :) I had Bustin Out on the Xbox and used to have the original Xbox which the played on, but now I don't have it anymore just an Xbox 360 which it doesn't play on (ahwell, least I have Banjo Kazooie and Tooie on there to play over and over as I wish :) )
