Played Sims 2 and Sims 3 for years . Only just picked up Sims 4 and a few expansion packs about a week ago as everything was like 75% off on Steam--they may still be?

I was put off playing 4 for a long time because of the amount of hate it got upon release, but I think the general consensus now is that it's decent with the expansion packs. On the whole, I do quite like it, especially the integrated 'gallery' whereby you can easily download content from other players.

Although, there are a few things I'm not too fond of. No cars, too many 'fantastical' careers, you can't walk around the town without travelling...

Sims 3 had some great careers, sometimes you had to do things other than go to work/increase skills which was cool :) 200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

Almost hit the top of the Firefighter profession in The Sims 3: Ambitions , so I'll be most likely getting that done real soon :) 200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left
