Disney have been very ambivalent about this.

The current answer seems to be that Visions is not strictly canon, but might build up its own canon... for example, the Ronin from 'The Duel' is due to get his own book treatment.

It might be best to think of the Visions as legends current in the SW universe... and which, like all legends, may contain a greater or lesser amount of truth ;)

And a little update for my Visions experience: I think there were some weak episodes, but overall I really enjoyed them. It's crazy to think of how each one of these shorts could have an ENTIRE spinoff series on their own (theoretically, hopefully, *crosses fingers*)...

I'd highly recommend them even to non-Star Wars fans!

So, on Monday (Oct. 4th), the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, representing some 60,000 professionals including stagehands and crew, voted overwhelmingly in favour of strike action (like, 98% in favour on a 90% turnout) over issues of pay and, especially, conditions.

There is now speculation that this will put back the release of Mandalorian Season 3 all the way to 2023... :(
