So...

Watched the finale of Ahsoka.

Not at all sure it's actually setting us up for a second season - it might just be preparation for the movie that's supposed to round out the Mandoverse.

Just finished it too - really enjoyed the show overall.

Some great surprises and the throwback to Clone Wars era was fun.

I hope we get another season, before the 2026(?) movie.
A Thrawn-led war seems like it could be the big 'world event' that will bring all the characters together.

SFFGazette is reporting serious delays to a number of forthcoming releases:

- Skeleton Crew: delayed by a year, now expected between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2024

- The Acolyte now expected late summer 2024 thanks to the impact of strikes

- Andor season 2 pushed to early 2025 release

- Mandalorian season 4 unlikely before 2025

A Disney press release confirms that
The Bad Batch
s3,
Tales of the Jedi
s2,
Skeleton Crew
and
The Acolyte
are on track for 2024 release. Looks like
Andor
s2 has been pushed back to 2025.

Rebel Moon was indeed originally pitched for the Star Wars universe, but rejected. Snyder went on to make it himself, changing some of the details.

I was tempted to watch Rebel Moon, mainly due to the potential SW similarities. Plot sounded interesting... the Imperium etc.

Maybe will rethink this.
