Thanks, Dubs. Yes, it's quite different; the Budweiser they brew here in Canada is quite good; people who have tried both versions tell me the American Budweiser tastes like ass.

I could never really get into beer or any alcohol for that matter. The taste is just very bitter, and the tipsiness makes me feel uncomfortable. Despite that, I still take a drink if I'm offered so that I don't come across as rude.

Its definitely an acquired taste and even then its not for everyone. Being able to taste past the bitterness is something you get accustomed to when you've been drinking beer for a while. You might like it later on, you might not.

The other day i tried a mexican beer, called "Corona". I heard it was pretty popular worldwide so i gave it a chance.
What a smooth flavour! Nice color too. It's not that kind of strong beer that hits like a tsunami inside your mouth, but it has this very "crystal sparky" taste. Reminds me of a classic Heineken but with a gentler punch. Something between Heineken and Pilsner Urquell.
If you like pale lagers, Corona is a must

Corona's alright, I'll drink it if it's around. I very much prefer Dos Equis if we're talking Mexican beers.

I agree, Dos Equis is much better. I'm really not a big fan of Corona tbh. But I prefer Ne**a Modelo to all Mexican beers I've had. To me, Corona is more of a party beer.
