No, I have no intention of watching The Shaming Of Ten, or whatever the story is called, or anything else to do with Doctor Woke, if I can help it. I understand they just destroyed Gallifrey, again. Now reportedly, these social justice morons are still not finished destroying the Time Lords and The Doctor's entire history. The rumor is these hacks plan to "reveal" that the Time Lords actually stole their powers and technology from another alien race, that The Doctor is really a member of this other race, and that until those other flawed incarnations the fans knew and loved was really always female!

Not that any of these mythos-obliterating desperation tactics matter though, because Doctor Who already ended the moment these social justice idiots took over and ruined this show beyond repair. Doctor Woke is absolutely tanking in the ratings, and for good reasons. The trendy SJW viewers have already claimed their victory, and are looking for their next big franchise to destroy, while longtime fans already moved on out of disgust. The BBC really wants to avoid PC backlash for firing "the first female Doctor", but the ratings keep dropping. Eventually, they'll have no other choice but to pull the plug.

In the end, political correctness will very likely succeed in doing what the Daleks, Cybermen, and all the other foes failed to do. They will kill Doctor Who. :(

The casting does feel more like box ticking rather than actually having a plan for the characters.

The previous season was the worst one ever, so if they manage to make this one somehow worse, I will be surprised.

I doubt I'll watch the rest of it though. Unless I see evidence of it being better.

I saw this posted on Facebook today:

Essentially, the message is Doctor Who is out of time. The ratings are horrible, and are expected to get even worse.

At this point, you may as well call it Doctor Who's Watching?

Sadly, I agree Shiavui.

The only possible way I see any sort of future for Doctor Who is for the BBC to pull the plug on this show as soon as they can, give it a good rest for a while (to let the true fans properly mourn and miss the show, plus allow the bitterness and resentment to fade), then hopefully someday relaunch the show with a new Doctor, some new TALENTED writers who will show some respect for the show's history and for the longtime fans, and restore Doctor Who to the wonderful, entertaining program it has been, instead of the SJW talking point-infested lecturefest it has become, shoving PC garbage down the throats of fans who are treated as the enemy if they dare to admit they liked the previous Doctors and do not embrace Doctor Woke as the one true Doctor.

Maybe they will end up having to do a massive retcon to explain that Doctor Woke never was The Doctor, but was an imposter attempting to steal his remaining regenerations, that show canon regarding Time Lords and Time Ladies has always been true (putting an end to all the silly gender-swapping), and that was why the TARDIS ejected the invading lifeform who took over The Doctor's body between Peter Capaldi's Doctor and The Doctor he was supposed to become - the next male incarnation. Perhaps "she" even believed she was The Doctor, or perhaps knew the truth all along. Maybe Doctor Woke is simply an amalgam of The Doctor's "feminine side" in a similar way to how The Valeyard was an amalgam of The Doctor's dark side. Once The Doctor makes peace with it, or defeats it, then he can go on to regenerate as intended.

Then again, they might just say, "Yeah, sorry about that. We're going to be bringing you proper Doctor Who now, with a proper Doctor, so just forget all that SJW nonsense."

Jodie's era hasn't been that good at all. I'm usually someone that can watch it and don't mind if some go overboard. But since Season 11, it's been hard to ignore. I cannot see Jodie as the doctor no matter how hard I try. It's just not registering. She's not a bad actor and I've liked some of her other work, but on this show, it's just not working. I don't know if it's her or the writing. Sometimes actors just aren't cut out for certain roles even if they're good actors.

Season 11 introduced too many changes at once. This is what started the decline for me. You had a gender change (male to female doctor). That's massive in itself. Then you had no story arc, all episodes were pretty much stand-alone. That made things boring. To top it off, the soundtrack had changed. The choice of songs was weird and at times off-putting. It did not fit the show. These 3 things made the show feel radically different.

Season 12 seemed like it improved things. I actually enjoyed Spyfall. It's also now got a story arc so it's at least building towards something. That should make it a little better than Season 11. That said, my main problem is the failure to see Jodie as the doctor. With every other doctor, I have warmed up to them within a couple episodes. Yet here we are, 1 season later and it's still a nope.

I still watch it though. It's not so bad that I won't watch it. It just hurts to see it decline. At least I always have the older episodes to watch. They never get boring. Watching episodes like Midnight still give me goosebumps to this day. So well written and acted. It's a real shame episodes like that don't get mad any more.

Maybe I'm just not in tune with British drama, but I've never liked Doctor Who.

I've tried to. I've tried to appreciate the premise. But it's way too much Monster-Of-The-Week fare with an over-reliance on the "sonic screwdriver".

I call it "Doctor Poo". :@
