The other side of the debate to science? Sorry, not interested.
Disappointed in you Joel.
My faith-based vaccine will be made of unicorn extract and universe-juice.
"Buy it and Believe it!"

Whilst there are valid points to be made about vaccines, its a numbers game.
Both 'get vaccinated' and 'dont' have risks.

I made sure my kids were vaccinated based on the data to hand.
Had a higher expectation - simple as that.

Universe juice sounds out of this world! Sign me up! :D

But yeah, its another calculated risk (as is most things in life lol) which should be thought through but usually the odds are on vaccines :)

There's only one thing that would make me worried about a vaccine...

Lol!!

I made sure my sons got their vaccinations. Unfortunately my youngest was allergic to the MMR, he had a red lump at the injection site within 5 minutes and he was treated with anti histamine medicine. When I discussed this with the Dr it was decided it was safer not to give him the 2nd shot incase he had a stronger reaction. Did I stop letting him have other vaccinations? No because each one is different.

I illustrated a detailed graph from a named source (the Victoria State Government, actually) and am asking how you explain the sudden and steep decrease in the infection rate when mask wearing became mandatory in your State - Victoria.

809 deaths in a state that masks are mandatory compared to 53 from a state that's next door that didn't enforce a mask policy.
Perhaps the herd immunity ideology ( that has worked since day dot ) actually ......worked?
It seems to have only started working at exactly the same time people in a Covid-riddled State were required to wear masks. Funny, that.
Added to which there is no firm evidence as yet to believe that Covid is subject to 'herd immunity' There have been reports around the world illustrating that people can, and do, contract Covid more than once.

snip for space.

As stated from the start, protect the elderly & young sure, however the rest, allow them to build up their own immunity to it.
Protect them how - by breathing germs all over them? You are assuming others will become immune. Even for simple influenza there is no natural immunity and a vaccination yearly is required to remove/minimise the chance of contracting it. Covid could behave in the same manner. No one knows yet.

What happens if the virus mutates? Take another vaccine, eliminate all animal agriculture or forever lockdowns?
Yes, an annual vaccine as for 'Flu (which tends to mutate) doesn't seem a bad idea. Wtf has animal agriculture got to do with it?

Never mind about the c. 1M dead worldwide, eh.

Out of close to eight billion.

Ah, so you don't think 1M dead people matter. Good to clear that up.

Why should I be forced to take a vaccine that has the possibility to make me legally blind, for a virus that has killed 53 in the state where I reside. Take into account of those 53, anyone with Covid at the time of their death, was labelled a Covid death regardless if it was Covid that killed them or not.

Why should I take that chance?

More people have likely died in car crashes in the last six months in the state I'm from compared to Covid.

I haven't ready anywhere that vaccinations are going to be made compulsory. Where did you get this notion?

I also haven't read anywhere that there's a chance the vaccination will make you go blind - probably because there isn't a vaccine yet O_o

I wish you'd just quit this made-up scare-mongering shite.

I have some numbers for you Fifi:

** Taken from Google. **

Ethel Merman
359
1883
125

Doris Day
95
10
1100

Audrey Hepburn
63
37
7

Let me guess:

Figure 1 - Taxi drivers who didn't know who she was.

Figure 2 - Pairs of shoes owned.

Figure 3 - Dental procedures undertaken.

Which very clearly points to shoe ownership being responsible for lack of public recognition and, in some cases, manky teeth. The logic is inescapable.
