The second wave in Melbourne, which took the country by surprise, did require Level 4 lockdown restrictions being imposed to halt the spread, Inspire You. However, posting content to engender fear is neither welcome nor permitted.
I wonder if it's because 1k people protested is the reason to bring it down when infection is still ripe in Auckland. If the the infection increases in Auckland or travels to the rest of the country their will be a lot of angry people, including me.
At level 3 it was contained to Auckland at level 2.5 there is now a risk of it infecting the rest of the country or a very low one.
Those people that protested about being at level 3 wouldn't know what it's like to have loved ones die, have loved ones at the risk of dying, in the vunuable category. Very one sided, one minded people who have no compassion for the rest of Auckland or for the country. I understand it's a pain in the ass being in that situation, I understand the frustration, the hardship, the loss of jobs, businesses, income - it's hard, it's harsh it needed to be done to save lives, I hope it's not jeopardising people's lives going down half a level.

Nations moving out of pandemic lockdown too early a 'recipe for disaster', WHO warns
https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/world/nations-moving-pandemic-lockdown-too-early-recipe-disaster-warns
I feel we have a big chance of the virus spreading like wildfire - after Auckland went to level 2 (the virus was contained in Auckland at level 3), now it's at level 2 the airports are open; yesterday there were thousands of people at the airport to travel around the country... If the virus spreads again, which is very likely not only will Auckland go back to level 3 or 4, the whole country may find it will need too. I do hope I am wrong!!
Wellington man brags about riding public transport without mask

In the article, this couple was thanking the Met service and the police for not inforcing them to wear masks and how the authorities handled it.
I find it really sad when you get people like this, people that only think about there own needs...

*facepalm*
but good she got banned from the school
saying its pagan that christians shouldnt cover face... so silly
especially as in the bible it says women should... 1 Corinthians 11:6
Some believe that Paul the apostle, who wrote Corinthians, was a misogynist. I don't know enough to form an opinion but that verse says cover her head not her face. It is more to do with not showing her hair.
I have huge issues with
only
women being required to cover their faces or hair due to religous/cultural ideas but I'm happy with covid mask wearing because it applies to men and women ( medical reasons/young children being the exception ). I'd far rather we didn't need to wear a face mask but we are where we are. I look forward to the day when there is no need for them.
