I think by July, all Michiganders can be mask free. Vaccinated ones can be mask free now, though. MiOSHA still requires masks for employees. MiOSHA is Michigan's governing body for safe work practices.

All anyone can talk about is how very ready we all are to be back to normal again. And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

All anyone can talk about is how very ready we all are to be back to normal again. Here in Canada I think they're being way more cautious and said we're 'taking a community approach' so that until everyone (who wants one) is vaccinated, mask mandate for us will remain.

I guess its also hard to enforce and check that a person not wearing a mask in a store is actually vaccinated so it'll purely be based on trust. But, if it provides extra incentive for more people to get vaccinated that might be more important :)

We are Covid free in our communities, we as a country are still at level one which means wear a mask on public transport, sign in at all places you go or use app photo thing or log it down.

Is Michiganders Covid free??

Just saw where 60% of US population has had at least one dose of covid vaccine.

Around 500k people have been vaccinated against Covid in my country, I'm not sure if that includes both vaccines. The first two Covid vaccines are free to all New Zealanders which is fantastic, they can't guarantee this for future Covid vaccines.

I got an email from my mother's rest home stating they are doing the second round of Covid injections which means they must be working through New Zealand rest homes at the moment, which is great to hear.
