I just got home after getting my flu jab. They were very efficient, in fact I was 10 minutes early and I was in and out before my appointment time! They had someone on the door who directed you to the desk to be "ticked off" the list. You then went into the waiting room where you were directed either left or right ( it has 2 doors leading to the treatment rooms ). Once through you were told which of 2 doctors would give you the jab. The other direction also had 2 people to administer the vaccine. I am very impressed.

edit to add: we left by a different door so no problems with people getting in each others way at the entrance. Perhaps the layout of the surgery helps with the organisation of things like giving vaccine to lots of people.

Sounds like a brilliant system you had in that doctors surgery or hospital etc. Sounds good

Wow, the Covid-19 outbreak in Washington, DC is beginning to remind me of Edgar Allen Poe's, "The Masque of the Red Death".

It was at my GP practice. We've been registered with them for over 30 years and they have always been great.

I just feel I don't need it at this stage. If I get the flu it's usually mild, I've only had the flu bad once and that was around 30 years ago and I was so very sick <- if this happened yearly yes I would get the jab. This year I didn't even get a cold. I just feel I don't need protection yet.
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

If you hadn't been informed of Covid 19 by one form or another, would've you known of its existence?

In the early stages of the virus, there were reports by the " experts " that there'd be bodies littering the streets, much like what the black plague delivered, though now I'm starting to query if that was even the case ... Another renegade Rat-Lord from the Master pond of scum.

No. of course not. Because you wouldn't know the name of what had killed/was killing you, or your partner or your parents or your kids. You'd have just know they got ill and died.
