Autistic child DENIED dental work because of mask bylaw
https://youtu.be/1gScJiR7GwI

"Tamara Ugolini speaks to Serena, a mother of two autistic children who faced challenges in getting dental treatment for her kids, despite their obvious mask exemptions."

10 year old autistic child denied tonsillectomy due to mask orders, even though they have a medical exception... and the fact that it's a tonsillectomy and they'll have their mask off for the entire procedure... because that's how logic works with these days...

Fucking disgusting.

The COVID-19 Variant On Minks In North Poland Apparently Can Infect Humans
https://voi.id/en/news/32817/the-covid-19-variant-on-stoats-in-north-poldandi-apparently-can-infect-humans

They've already killed millions of minks over the last year because of covid.

But, um, is it that the "mink covid" can infect "humans"? Or is it that "human covid" can infect "minks"?

I hate when they just start killing off innocent animals even if they're not sick "just for precautions".

First it's the mink... then what? The stoats?

I had my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this morning. So far I'm fine, even my arm isn't really sore. Of course it could ache later like it did after the flu jab and other side effects might develop. My husband had the AstraZeneca one. We don't get a choice, its what they have available on the day.
It was well organised. I'm impressed! Thank you NHS!

My wife will be getting her first dose of Pfizer vaccination in a couple of hours.

My special needs son was supposed to get his last week, but they forgot to notify us, so he will get his next week.

And he fears if its spread isn't stopped, it could one day meet the highly infectious UK variant and swap genes, creating a "nightmare scenario":

Not that I have any issues with you posting this, but, I'd like to point out that while I get told I'm "fear mongering", this type of "fear mongering" never gets called out.

It's fine to "fear monger" about the virus, but, "fear mongering" about the responses to the virus isn't allowed.

Everyone has to be scared of the virus, but everyone has to trust the "officials" and the actions they take.

Maybe if more people were "fear mongering" about the actions or inaction that the governments were taking, less people would have died. If more people had "fear mongered" about putting known covid patients into nursing homes, maybe they would have stopped.

It's important to be aware of what's happening with the virus and the possibilities that may arise, but it's also important to be aware of how "officials" are reacting and addressing the situation.

Atrocities are still atrocities, even if they're done under the guise of good intentions.

They don't usually happen overnight. They're slowly eased into the system, bit by bit, until one day, people start asking "how did this happen? how did we get here?". Most humans will instinctively push back against atrocities if they happen instantly, however, many humans won't notice as much if it's happening slowly over time, allowing them to become complacent through each stage, meaning they are less likely to push back through each stage. It's only once their breaking point has been reached or they realize "wait, we're killing people now?" that they finally wake to what has actually happened.

Stay aware. :)

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”
