Why do you need to be prompted or asked to clarify something when, if I (and I'm not the only person across multiple conversations, across multiple days) and others seem to interpret what you said in a different way? Surely that's enough of a reason to clarify, no? If what you've said has indeed been misinterpreted so differently and you care that much.
Because I'm not a fucking mind reader...

I can only respond to posts that have been made.

I can't respond to whatever is going on in your head, or answer questions that you haven't asked me.

Maybe before you accuse me of things, you could take a moment to clarify what it is that you're about to accuse me of? That way you have my actual stance on the matter, and not just whatever convoluted intent that you have created in your head that you think I have.

So, do you think this 'reset' will involve further lockdowns past the point at which vaccinations have been widely distributed around the world, hopefully achieving what its meant to achieve?

Or do you think this 'reset' is purely a remark made in regards to fixing issues we have in society today (regardless of what those fixes would be or look like)?

Make up your mind:

I'm not about to enter a more direct political debate with you.

You won't tell me what "politics" means, you say you're not going to enter into a "more direct political debate" and then proceed to ask me specific questions about said political discussion.

What are we doing here, Joel?

Seriously. You're flip flopping all over. Politics isn't allowed, then it is because you want to discuss it, but then it's not, but now you're specifically asking about politics.

I don't have an issue discussing things, but, you're flip flopping so much that I don't even know if I should engage this discussion, just to be chastised later for "politics".
I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great! :)

You hardly have to be a mind reader, my responses (as well as others) here have made it clear how your posts have been interpreted, no mind reading necessary.

And oh, I was just trying to get a simple yes or no to those 2 questions I asked, whether you agree or not. I wasn't after or interested some political debate. And I wouldn't have asked them except for you saying "Stop assuming things. Just ask.".

When vaccine rollout really starts ramping up and gets to a good point to achieve what they set out to achieve, do you think we'll see continue to see lockdowns despite any effectiveness of the vaccine? It should be a yes or a no answer. If its further nuanced then just say so "Yes/No but its nuanced and dips into politics" - I'm not trying to bait you into some political discussion here, just trying to gauge (in simple terms) where you stand on it. We seem to be adults here able to be a little responsible.

Again, you're the one who references this 'reset' by sharing a YT video and you've done so before, I've just responded to it and pointed out how the way in which you make remarks like "..lockdowns won't end just because people get the vaccine" without greater context is really misleading. Individually it won't end a lockdown no, but collectively yes, that's the goal here. But you didn't make that distinction and neither did you make that distinction previously hence the responses you've received. Unless of course you think more is going on which would suggest we would see more meaningless lockdowns, and then we start going into things there's no evidence of (hence, slightly conspiratorial).

Anyway, aside from that little bit of overexcitement, heard today my mum and brother's girlfriend has sent their tests off to be analyzed.

He's slept most of the day, aching and fatigued and lost some sense of taste. My older brother had a bit of a dry-cough backend of last week and over the weekend lost his sense of taste so encouraging him to get tested. They work together so given that + his symptoms I'd be shocked if his result came back negative so thats both of them plus his girlfriend.

Thankful the UK vaccine rollout is doing extremely well so far, especially Wales as well.

If you are worried that it may happen in your country you'd be better off opening a dialogue with the Politicians, Trade Unions, Human Rights & Employment bodies and suchlike in your country rather than expressing querulous outrage at the prospect of something that hasn't yet happened to readers of a games forum.

A brief look at the News seems to indicate the your Govt are not making vaccines mandatory (you are Australian, yes?) although a few specific sectors such as Healthcare are rattling their sabres.

Even such limited insistence may prove impossible to implement since it would violate some of your existing Laws.
