I had my first jab on Saturday, it was the Oxford one.

My arm is still a little bit sore (much like for the 'Flu jab) and for about 12 hours I had a headache and felt slightly feverish. But I'm fine now.

Bill Gates hasn't phoned me yet.

Really glad to hear that, another couple of weeks and you might start to feel a little safer, and a life a little more normal.

A colleague at work had hers about three weeks ago, she said that she felt really tired for a day or so afterwards and just wanted to sleep, but fine after that.

Me and the Missus had the AstraZeneca vaccine last Thursday. I experienced no problems but the Missus had some of the normal mild reactions. She says a drop of gin helps with the symptoms but it seems its going to be a long slow process - she says!

Hey if gin helps who are you to argue? ;)
Remember Caz. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

On top of everything else, the prospect of a gin epidemic makes me sapphire blue. ;)

Has anyone else had a bogus email with a link to "arrange a vaccine jab"?

I got one yesterday and it looked fairly legit but I examined the email like I do any with links in them and sure enough it was from a hotmail address.

I'm sure most of you would check, but thought it worth mentioning... also a good idea to tell friends and relatives that aren't so computer-savvy.

I also Googled "How will the NHS contact me for vaccination?" and in most cases you'll get a letter or an email/text from your GP.

My daughter has had one of these. They are quite sophisticated and do look fairly legit.

So sad that the criminal element will tap into people`s fears and make money out of this scam.

I would imagine that the anxiety many people are feeling about the virus will unfortunately make this an extremely profitable proposition for them, as there will be many who will fall for it
